Clear dark copper pour with a 3 finger, creamy yellow-beige head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is loaded with a very nice spice blend up front, warm but mellow cinnamon, earthy ginger, maybe some allspice, but I have a harder time picking that out, dried apple and orange peels, lots of toffee and caramel, earthen woody notes and a hint of toasty oak. Flavor is loaded with toffee, warming spice -lots of mellow cinnamon, more ginger than the aroma and possibly some clove, though that could be the allspice- and tons of banana oil up front, then light woody notes, dark chewy caramel, orange peels, overripe apple, light pine and herbal hops. Medium to heavy body with a chewy feel throughout, light to medium, sharp and blanketing carbonation. Good stuff overall, really hits the spot on a cold night. Probably the most warming beer (especially in the stomach) I have had that isn’t ridiculously boozy, spiced with peppers (that I know of) or a complete punch to the face with cinnamon or ginger. This stuff has plenty of cinnamon and ginger, but they didn’t really go crazy with it. It really hits it mark around 55F, at fridge temp the fruity notes just don’t fit well.

Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of caramel, spice and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, spice and a hint of fruitiness with a smooth lingering spiced finish.

Clear brown, off white head. This reminds me of a pumpkin beer minus the pumpkin. Spices, toffee, caramel. Tasty.

Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a medium thin off-white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, spices and oak. Medium-bodied with flavors of gingerbread, caramel malt and oak. The finish is sweet with a cinnamon and ginger aftertaste. Above average overall.

12 oz bottle: pours a clear deep amber golden with a clingy-lacing froth of off-white head. Has a sweet cinnamon and allspice nose with some toasty caramel malts and noble hops. Body starts with good fullness and effervescent carbonation revealing a clean biscuity malty sweetness and good cinnamon spice balance with a touch of light fruity complexity in the finish. Has good balance of sweetness, bitterness and spices.

Bottle thanks to Adam! Pours a hazy amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong spice with a bit of a pine must and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has sweet bread with Christmas spice with a bit of caramel.

Bottle: Clear, beaming copper with a mild red tint all around it; foamy, semi-chunky white head settles slowly on top. Moderate lacing along the glass. Aroma is dominated with holiday spice. Notes of gingerbread cookie, allspice, cinnamon, clove, & sweet toffee. Underneath the spice, there are small hints of plums, dark fruit, baked bread, & mild notes of Belgian-y yeast... This might just be due to the clove, though. Taste is quite spicy. Lots of sharp ginger & allspice with cinnamon taking a small backseat. Toffee, earthy notes, burnt toast, plum esters, & thick yeast swarm around, leading into a slightly bitter finish with lingering kitchen spices on the palate. A decent spiced beer, but just a bit too ginger root heavy for my tastes. A little more sweetness or strength from other spices would’ve suited me better.
