2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mnmike (609) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 13, 2012
12 ounce bottle pour. Generally I was underwhelmed by this beer. Slight upgrade over your average macrobrew goldens.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 jgb9348 (3963) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 11, 2012
Clear golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of pale malt, grass and a bit of sugar. Light-bodied; Strong assertive maltiness with a bit of rice, grain, cardboard and light hay noticeable with a little sweetness on the back end. Aftertaste is quite simple with a bit of hay, grass, malt and cardboard and a little sugar at the very end. Overall, not such a great beer - but not a bad offering either - a smooth, easy to drink beer for the summer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trig’s Cellar 70 in Minocqua, Wisconsin on 28-July-2012 for US$1.65 sampled at home in New Paltz, New York on 11-December-2012.

This is a great light simple beer. Not alot of flavor... but its so smooth. Drank this with pizza and it didnt diminish the pizza flavor or vise versa...

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear yellow gold with small frothy white head. The aroma is honey malt and floral hop. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet honey and light bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink, a good premium lager from New Glarus.

Bottle. Pours a light, clear yellow with no head. Flavor is like slightly carbonated, watered down apple juice. Nothing special about this beer.

Very good for the style. A quality ’football sunday’ pizza and wings-type beer. It shouldnt be faulted for being a basic "Naked" beer - thats exactly what its meant to be.

Super pale blonde pour with a thin head. A small amount of lace. Mouth is fuller than expected. Aroma of grain and slight hopping. Taste has light grain with a faint bitter finish. Easy drinking, but not overly flavorful.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 JulienHuxley (1708) - Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 14, 2012
Bottle thanks to Joe. Very pale gold pour with thin veil of white foam. Aroma of grains, cereal, very discreet almost absent hops. Taste is grainy, slightly sweet, finishes kind of dry. Very well made example of a style that usually gets trashed. I wouldn’t go out of my way to procure this, but if it was available to me I’d probably drink it by the case.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dfonorow (710) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Pour is a bit above pale yellow with a large, bubbly white head. Aroma is of pilsner malts with some slight spiciness in the background. Flavor is a bit thin but includes notes of citrus, sweet flowers (strange but true), and grass. Not bad for a pale lager.
