Aroma: Faint hay-like hops. Not much aroma, really. Appearance: Crystal clear, pale gold pour, puts up more than two fingers of sudsy white head with great retention. Leaves thick lace all down the glass. Flavor: Lighty sweet malts, a little bready, some hay-like hops in a very clean finish. Loses complexity as it drinks, by the end of the glass, it’s just a little sweet and malty. Palate: Thin body, becomes creamy with the carbonation. drywallman (230), Lake in the Hills, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 14, 2008 This one poured with a light honey shade to it with soapy head and long lasting lacing. It was very smooth, even a little malty with a very faint matching hop effect. This one went down well, tasted very good for an extra pale lager, and had a decent amount of body and mouthfeel. A very good session beer for the summer. Strykzone (1505), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Incredibly light color of honey with a soapy white head that leaves lots of sticky lacing. Pleasant honey aroma. Feels smooth, even soft, but lifeless and flat. Flavor is Pilsner honey with faint caramel malt. Enjoyable but not exciting. bones41 (12), new ulm, Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 28, 2008 Bright yellow gold in color with a bright white head. Nice lager aroma of malts and yeast. Its like drinking an improved pale lager, smoother, crisper and more flavorful. Mostly a malt flavor but balanced with all ingredients. Palate is incredibly smooth but also kinda boring with no aftertaste or bitter end. Overall I’m impressed and would be a great session beer. jebert (124), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 23, 2008 Pours a beautiful clean golden color with tiny bubbles cascading up to a huge foamy white head. Aroma is barley and hops with a hint of citrus. First taste is barley with a soft mouth feel and muted carbonation. Finish is creamy, not bitter. Overall, this mild lager is a satisfying brew but not as good as its New Glarus stablemates. Pairs well with chicken or other white meats. Baumgartner (108), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 18, 2008 Bottle poured to glass. Pours a clear sparkling yellow brew and an average white head. Aroma is a bit sour like sweat with a piney hops after. Clean tasting pale lager with minamal sourness that I dislike in pale lagers. Watery mouth feel a with plenty of malt flavor. undsioux7 (566), Cologne, Minnesota, USA
