COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Proud family traditions of Weyermann Malting and New Glarus Brewing co unite in this classic country lager bred in the Baavarian style. Painstaking efforts created the floor malted Bohemian malts that blend seamlessly and exclusively with German Hallertau Mittlefrueh hops.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, yeast, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, minerals, malt, and hay, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

My favorite beer ever, served in the over sized brown bottles. Liquid honey as smooth as I’ve ever had, full falvor, no bitterness, liquid bread. Yumm!

Bottle at a tasting. Golden pour with white head. Light crisp citrus, and light grassy tones, some light sweet tones. Flavor is light but not lacking, easy drinking.

When looking at this beer for what it is you have to appreciate it as being a good pilsner. But overall it’s nothing too special. It’s better than there new recipe for sure though.

Had this straight from a 12oz bottle, so didn’t get a look at color or lacing. Wasn’t sure either what to expect from this lager, and thought I might be disappointed. But it has great aroma, great flavor, and finishes well. Not too hoppy and no bite at the end. Clean and refreshing.

A delicious beer. I didn’t expect much when I saw the word pilsner but I was surprised. This poured w/ a light red color too it like a golden "red" style. It had a nice even full mouth feel and a delicous flavor. The blend of light hopping and generous sweet malt and light aftertaste of some raw grain was easy to drink. Not sure on the ABV, but I think this would make a great session beer. Served from a brand new tap at Metro Cigars.

500ml bottle. Rating #112. Clear golden pour with a slight chill haze and a nice white head. Real nice Bready grain aroma, very clean and enticing. Very nice flavor, more clean graininess with a small little hop bite that doesn’t stick around too long, really nice lager. (1582)
