Proud family traditions of Weyermann Malting and New Glarus Brewing co unite in this classic country lager bred in the Baavarian style. Painstaking efforts created the floor malted Bohemian malts that blend seamlessly and exclusively with German Hallertau Mittlefrueh hops.

50cl traded bottle. Pours a clear gold color with a medium foamy white head and chunky lacing. Nice carbonation too. Classic lager aroma with just enough German hops. Fresh, clean taste. Maybe a touch lighter than expected but still very nice and definitely true to form.

12/1/10. Bomber courtesy cbfobes! Smells of hay, fresh cut apples, green grass, and pie spices. Sweet malty flavor with a hint of caramel, fruitiness, and spicy hops. Nice!

.5 Liter bottle. Pours a clear golden straw with a fluffy white head- good lasting head- some spotty lace. Aroma is grassy, fresh herbal and floral hops, germand and czech hops, light spicy earthy tones, good soft bready pils malt backbone. Flavor is doughy, grass, light toast, bready malts, light biscuit, herbal fresh hops, mineral and a light clean finish- very easy drinking. Great Pilsner.

Thanks to Tooch4321 for this one in trade. Pours opaque gold with a white head. Nose is corn/ sweetness, slight lager yeast, and sweetness finishing with mild hops. Flavor is similar with corn/ sweetness and yeast. Flavor is mellow as hell, medium-bodied, and very enjoyable.

Courtesy of markwise. Pours clear gold with bright white head. The aroma is fresh and grainy as well as sending out soft notes of spicy hops and a touch of yeastiness. The taste is rich yummy and in my opinion right where a solid Pilsner should be with a seemless mix of sweet tangerine like hoppiness, some spicy hops and floral hops as well as fresh graininess and a mild note of acidic lemon cutting in there too. Solid easy drinkiní brew.

500 mL bottle from Discount Liquor in Milwaukee. Pours pale yellow with a thin head of white lace. Aroma of sweet pilsener malts with hints of grass and earth. Great example of a well done pilsener even if itís not my favorite style of beer.

Bottle. Gold with a white head and a mild white lacing. Really fresh grains, bread and honey notes. Fresh hop tones so crisp so clean, no astringency at all. Fantastic, for everything its not!

Bottle. I wish I got to try this earlier, but Iím still happy that I found a bottle. Pours a rich golden, clear, with a sticky sudsy white head. Aroma is quite grassy, very light malty sweetness, clean and simple. Flavor follows, very bready, grassy, light sweetness that might just be a touch too tangy, especially on the finish. Reminds me a lot of Weihenstephaner Original, quite bready and crisp. Medium/light bodied, just a touch glassy thick with ample lively fluffy and sizzling carbonation. A few flaws come out as it warms, but it also becomes more tasty, metallic, tangy, sour, alcohol. Very easy drinking, this was probably phenomenal fresh... o please make this all the time... gah
