COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Recipe changed in 2011. Four thousand years before Christ, Sumerian women created the divine drink of beer. Viking women brewed in Norse Society. European Ale Wives were so successful as cottage brewers they were taxed. Artisanal women lost their domination of the daily ritual of brewing during the Industrial Revolution. Today’s brewing trade is controlled by men. The collaboration of two Craft companies both led by women, New Glarus Brewing Company and Weyermann Malting, is unique. You hod the result "Two Women" a classic country lager brewed with Weyermann’s floor malted Bohemian malt and Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops. A tempting and graceful classic lager found... Only in Wisconsin.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a minimal white head. Aroma is lightly soapy and has a light, sweet maltiness. Flavor is grassy with a touch of spicy hop notes...still some sweet maltiness. Mouthfeel is light/medium with a grassy finish. Decent but not hoppy enough for my tastes...too much sweet maltiness.

Shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike. The beer is clear and golden colored with a half inch of white head that leaves sparse lacing on the glass. The aroma offers grain, light fruit, malt, biscuits - smells like a German lager. A tad sweet, refreshing, highly drinkable. A fine choice for a session beer. Light in body with appropriate carbonation. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 04-08-2012

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Pours deep golden with a small white head. Aroma is biscuit, malty, bread. Some slight notes of herbal and spicy hops with a touch of fruitiness. Flavor starts with the doughy bread notes, picking up more of a sweet fruitiness before a more sugary sweet finish. Medium body and a sharp carbonation.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy orange with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a corn malt and honey. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet malt and citrus flavor. Easy to drink, a good Bohemian pils from New Glarus.
