3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 hombrepalo (1623) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 3, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a minimal white head. Aroma is lightly soapy and has a light, sweet maltiness. Flavor is grassy with a touch of spicy hop notes...still some sweet maltiness. Mouthfeel is light/medium with a grassy finish. Decent but not hoppy enough for my tastes...too much sweet maltiness.

Shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike.
The beer is clear and golden colored with a half inch of white head that leaves sparse lacing on the glass. The aroma offers grain, light fruit, malt, biscuits - smells like a German lager. A tad sweet, refreshing, highly drinkable. A fine choice for a session beer. Light in body with appropriate carbonation.

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Pours deep golden with a small white head. Aroma is biscuit, malty, bread. Some slight notes of herbal and spicy hops with a touch of fruitiness. Flavor starts with the doughy bread notes, picking up more of a sweet fruitiness before a more sugary sweet finish. Medium body and a sharp carbonation.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy orange with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a corn malt and honey. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet malt and citrus flavor. Easy to drink, a good Bohemian pils from New Glarus.
