Golden pour with a light haze and a thin head of off-white foam. Spotty lacing. The aroma consisted of fresh citrusy, herbal hops and bread dough. The flavor had a crisp Saaz bite and a nice bready, pilsner malt backbone. The hops are on the forefront, but the bitterness isn’t overwhelming or astringent. Very clean on the tongue. Medium to full-bodied with a light amount of crisp carbonation. I wish I could have had this when it was really fresh. Still drinking nicely at this point. Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 25, 2009 12oz. bottle poured into a Footed Pilsner at 40°. Color is a hazy golden with mellow carbonation and a small tight white head. Aroma is faint with a sweet yeast and grain scent. Taste is creamy and bitter. Starting with a bold light body it goes down with a creamy feel. Finish is a mild malt sweetness with a hint of hop flavor and an even bitterness. After taste is clean with the bitterness hang in the back of your mouth. Overall I feel it a great example of this style. fata2683 (942), Panama City, Florida, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 21, 2009 Bottle via trade thanks to badbeer on BA. Clear golden color with a creamy one-finger white head and good lacing. Aroma is sweet pale malt, corn, and citrusy/grassy hops. Flavor is basically what Budweiser hopes it could be in its wildest dreams. Sweet pilsner malt with some corn/graininess, but in a good way, and grassy, earthy Saaz hops, and a little citrus. Body is medium-light with a fairly dry finish and some hop bitterness lasting. Great example of a rather uninteresting style. zer0crew (62), Duluth, Minnesota, USA

Typical lager aroma, light hops and sweet malt. Taste is nice for a lager. Light hops, light crystal malt. Light in texture, easy drinking. Overall...great example of a lager but still boring compared to other craft ales. Thanks josh
