| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Pours a cloudy brown color with very little head. Smells tart, like a red wine except with a cherry twist. Otherwise subdued nose. Tastes of sour cherries with lots of vanilla and oak character. The oak really lingers on the finish. Full bodied, subdued but nice carbonation. Extremely tasty brew, different than your average run of the mill cherry sour. Dough77 (773), Aurora, Illinois, USA

Malts show up but taste is mostly that great woody flavor tagging along with some sour cherries. Very enjoyable. toncatcher (228), Santee - SAN DIEGO, California, USA

A small off white head that disappears quickly into decent lacing. Aromas of tart cherries, candy, and light malts. Flavors of tart cherries. Tart on the palate. A good beer, but not something I could drink more than one of a night. Thanks cbkschubert for sharing with me. cbkschubert (1966), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 4, 2008 Pours out a nice big head that falls in to a thin layer with a great lacing. The color is ruby red and a little cloudy. Smell is tart and fruity. Flavor is a little different with a some of that fruity tartness. Can’t put my finger on the oddness. It’s almost a weird bitter flavor. anders37 (4607), Malmö, Sweden
