badgerben (3074), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Nov 21, 2004 #900: Clear amber pour with little head. Very much a Grape Nuts aroma of raw barley. While that aroma flows well into the flavor, it is joined by an odd supply of fruit that I was not expecting. Definitely a little doughy and has a little dash of spice. Not bad at all. Happy 900 to me!
BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA May 21, 2008 Has a bit of a zesty orange marmalade nose, some other light fruits and a hint of alcohol in the there as well. Has a slight canned peach flavor, some white pepper, and a hint of minerality coming through in the finish. Nicely done, and different. Thomas_E (5030), Copenhagen, Denmark Feb 19, 2008 Orange, amber colour with a small off white head. Malty, fruity and alcohol sweet aroma with a light spicy note. Malty, fruity flavor with a light mouldy note. Light dry, bland finish. badbeer (409), Iowa, USA Dec 23, 2007 Review from 2005.
Pours a nice golden hue with attractive lacing. Had a trace of alcohol present in the aroma mixed with fruits. Taste is sweet and fruity, very enjoyable. To me this was very drinkable. I purchased this at the brewery as part of a sampler 4 pack. I really regret that I only bought one bottle, as when I returned it was all gone. I really would have enjoyed having more of this to cellar and see how it does with age. If you can find a bottle I recommend it. yespr (6373), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 18, 2007 12 fl oz bottle. Pours golden clear yellow with almost no head. Herbal and slight mouldy aroma. Flavour holds a sweet malty and slight roasted flavour. Has bourbon like notes, earthy into the finish. Very little to do with a triple, strange yet okay. sk8viking (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 14, 2007 Bottle. A dark golden beer with a small white head. The aroma and taste is sweet malty, fruity, caramel, earthy, moldy, old. Medium to full body with a sweet light alcoholic finish.
