"Some people paint, some sing, others write… I brew". -Daniel Carey A few times a year we will cut Dan loose to brew whatever he chooses, uncensored, uncut, unplugged. Always handcrafted, the bottle you hold is brewed for the adventurous soul. This is a very limited edition and we make no promises to ever brew this style again. Sparkling and bright this is a Wisconsin original created for you in the traditional method employed by the Lambic Brewers of Belgium including five months of outdoor resting in oak barrels. Indigenous yeast and cranberries from the “wilds” of Wisconsin flawlessly pair to dance on your palette. You have discovered a rare and delightful treasure to be served cold in a fluted glass. Thanks for supporting the arts, Daniel and Deb Carey

12oz bottle courtesy of Todd. ROCKIN! A: Clearish reddened copper. There’s very little head from this pour and the beer looks remarkably still. N: Banana, cranberry, cheese, dough, and some leather. Doesn’t smell terribly tart, nor is there much oak. Plenty of funk, though. Lots of that for you to enjoy. T: Sweet like banana and a minor level of tartness to break up the sugars. Some oak and funk lingers on this one. Has kind of a molasses-barbecue aspect. M: Well carbonated with a lighter body. Lingers on the palate with a nice warmth. O: A cross between the New Glarus fruit beers and a wild ale. Might be fallen off a bit, as I’m not sure when this was originally brewed. I do like it and would have it again. Just expect something much sweeter and fruitier.

First beer I’m rating as I drink so I will write it a real review. Smells sour with a hint of cherries. Amberish in color with a slight red tint, was expecting it to be a little more red in color. Taste is amazing, awesome balance of sweet and sour. Tastes of cranberry and cherry. I wish I could just slam this and go get more. Thanks to madvike for the bottle.

Bottle. Pours a great hazy red with a little head. Tons of cranberry on the nose with some tartness, flavor is similar but more sour at the end. Very solid, wish I had more!

Awesome - bottle shared by the Hoff! I have had this in the past, but never rated it. Big cranberry nose. Hazy red pour with a reddish tan head. Big cranberry flavor followed up by some nice sourness.

12 ounce bottle thanks to mashmaster. Pours a still copper with no head. Aroma has a lot of cranberry and sweet fruits. Tastes sweet and a little tart. Overall, another awesome fruit beer from New Glarus. This is a permanant want for me.

Bottle from puddintane. Pours hazy tan amber capped by an off white head. Nose of funk, cranberries and spice. Taste starts slightly puckering with hints of yeast and cranberries. Body is light, fizzy, and easy to consume in mass. My wife asked where this was from. She said she would be down for a trip. We shall see.

Bottle. Pours an unclear dark orange with no head. Smell is sweet and tart berries (maybe cranberry only bc it was already suggested in the title), hint of vanilla, oak. Taste is tart cranberries, oak, sweet, caramel/vanilla undertones, funk. Straight up good.

Pours a red orange color with a slight head to it that disappears rather quickly. Scent is mild with cranberries being the most obvious as well as yeast. Almost has the same scent as a cranberry wine! The taste of berries explode as they hit your tongue. Very strong in cranberry with some wheat and yeasts in the mix. A surprising sweet taste and yet it is just right. Not too strong and not too weak. Texture is just slightly bubbly otherwise nicely flat that brings that unique aspect to the table. Definitely something interesting to try for eclectic beer lovers!

Arôme intéressante de sirop fruité avec une touche d’acidité qui augure bien. En bouche, un sirop de canneberges très sucré mais comme l’arôme présageait, un fini acide. La sécheresse est à point mais les sucres restent trop longtemps à mon goût.
