COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Some people paint, some sing, others write… I brew". -Daniel Carey A few times a year we will cut Dan loose to brew whatever he chooses, uncensored, uncut, unplugged. Always handcrafted, the bottle you hold is brewed for the adventurous soul. This is a very limited edition and we make no promises to ever brew this style again. Sparkling and bright this is a Wisconsin original created for you in the traditional method employed by the Lambic Brewers of Belgium including five months of outdoor resting in oak barrels. Indigenous yeast and cranberries from the “wilds” of Wisconsin flawlessly pair to dance on your palette. You have discovered a rare and delightful treasure to be served cold in a fluted glass. Thanks for supporting the arts, Daniel and Deb Carey

Poured from Bottle into Tumbler glass. Pours a brilliant orange with pink highlights and a finger of fizzy tinted-white head that dissolves quickly into a thin layer that rests atop the glass. The aroma is tart cranberries, some wild yeast notes and maybe some hints of malt? The flavor is full of tart fruit, prickly fruit and just overall booming with cranberry. Its a light-medium bodied beer with a lively carbonation. This beer is really nicely done. I enjoy the cranberry which isn’t overly pronounced but certainly is the center piece of this beer. Well Done.

Light pink, small white head. Aroma is quite tart, perhaps a hint of fruit. Opens quite tart, finishes pretty sweet. Too sweet for me, maybe this will get better with age.

12oz bottle pours a light pink with a small off white head. Sweet cherry and cranberry taste. Very drinkable, not sour at all.

Poured from bottle into fluted glass. Pinkish color, with nice bubbly white head. Smell is apple vinegar, nail polish, some fruit, almost wine-y. Taste is sweet and tart fruit, with maybe a little yeast, and must (I guess?). Body is medium-light, feel is kind of slick. Disclaimer: this is not my favorite style of beer. That being said, this is the best/ my favorite one that I’ve had. The sweetness and sourness are balanced well, and the overall flavor is very pleasing.

12 oz bottle, 2014 Thumbprint. Light pink, like white Zinfandel. Taste is pretty sour, somewhat sweet, berry, cranberry, cherry. Reminded me of serendipity, a bit more sour, less added sugar. Very acidic. Lots of carbonation.

Pink color. Looks kind of like pink champaign with light carbonation. Sour fruity aroma. Very tasty. Tart cranberry fruit taste. Slight musty yeast taste. I like it a lot. I’d say it’s like a cranberry sour beer.

Bottle via trade. Nose is tart and puckering, almost gets you in the gills. obviously some cranberry but I feel the tartness is more prominent. Pour is a haxy reddish orange with white head that dies immediately. Taste is much less funky than nose would indicate. Still has a chest hitting tartness, but subdued. Lots of fruitiness and fruit skin in the flavor. A very well played balance of fruit and tartness. A hint of warming in the chest but that could be from the sourness. Another great NG beer.

Bottle with thanks to bauermj! Pours hazy orange amber with a medium beige creamy head that lasts well and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is strong cranberry, not much else. Flavor is medium sweet, very fruity, some oak, light tartness in there as well, but its hard to tell if that is a natural product of the cranberries or from open air fermentation. Minimal acidity. Full rich body, yummy. Another winner from NG!

Nice cranberry juice flavor but not too sweet, bubbly texture like champagne, has a bit of a good yogurty lactic tartness. Not funky, but extremely tasty.

Bottle, thanks to Mr. Drake, Esq. The pour’s ruddy ruby with a large off-white head. Sweet bright cherry skin. Earthy and meaty. Just a touch of cranberry tang. Sugar. The taste is of strawberry fig newtons. Red apple skin. Cherry compote. Light and dry on the finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Overall, pleasant and easy. A docile, friendly companion.

Pour is dark amber with a pinkish hue and a tight white head. Nose is huge cranberry with a strong sawdust oakiness in back and notes of vanilla. Taste is tart cranberry and lots of oaky goodness. Notes of vanilla in back with an assertive carbonation on a medium body with a very soft palate.
