Bottle shared at a tasting at Noam’s office. Thanks bytemesis. Hazy red with a quickly dissolving bubbly head. Sweet cherry, a little earthy ans marzipan aroma. Very sweet and syrupy taste. Highly drinkable, not carbonated, medium-bodied, marzipan aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
at a tasting, thanks kerenmk, bubly stable pinkish head, very hazy deep oxidised orange colour, colour, aroma of cherry candy and almonds, flavour of cherry, spice and cakey maltiness, light pleasant sourness but much too sweet, very fruity feel. Very nice but could be better if not so sweet.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured into a tulip glass. It is a beautiful sight to behold in the glass. It’s really red, but light shines through and it is pretty clear. Aroma of both sweet and tart cranberries with a bit of sourness. The taste is complex and delicious. This beer is a real treat if you can get your hands on it!

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Probably the best fruit beer on the market, bar none. Pours a deep red, and when put to the light just glows. Cherries are found on the aroma and on the palate. What makes this unique is that you get both the sweet and tartness of the cherries in this masterpiece.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle thanks to Bacterial. Pours a lovely clear ruby with pinkish head that flourishes and then disappears quickly. Aroma is full of sweet cherries. Taste is sweet, but a nice and subtle tartness and very light bitterness cuts that and keeps it from being cloying. Medium body, lively carbonation. Overall: everything I expect from NG fruit beers. Sweet, sincere, single-minded, sublime. Also, 4%!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hot day perfect beer. Ruby red pour pink head. Berry and cherry aroma little bread. Huge ripe cherry and berry mix, not that medicinal cherry taste, the good kind. Thin body and lively carbonation. So good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2014 On tap at brewery tasting room. Deep crimson and cordial-like. Aroma is generic fruit. Taste is sweet, fruity, mild tart. Couldn’t drink a lot if this but delicious. Finish is sherbet fizz. Overall, definitely more fruit than sour. Very mild tang. Solid and drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by a non-Ratebeer friend, thanks JM! ;) Pours a clear red with a low white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is of cough syrup (ugh), cherries blended with something you found at the back of an apothecary cabinet. Taste is of cherry kool-aid, too sweet and artifical for me. Mouthfeel is juicy, litterally like drinking some sweetened fruit juice from the store. Blah. Carbonation was prickly. Not sure where I stand on this one, this was way too sweet and artificial. Maybe we got a bad bottle? Bad batch with a less than usual attenuation/fermentation problems? Either way I’m off the scale (no way I’d give 4+ to this) so it’s definitely pointing in that direction.
