COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

Hazy orangey ruby. Small off-white head with retention and lace. Aroma full of cherries but its ’soft’ rather than sharp and biting. Medium bodied and bursting with flavor. Cherries of course - moderate sweetnes. Has a little zing but the slight tartness and sourness is very ’clean’ and rounded - smooth. Soft carbonation. Well-balanced, delicious and refreshing. Have had this a few times and will have it many more.

Poured into 12 oz snifter. Smells of sweet, tart, cherry. Pours deep, thick ruby with minimal creamy head with slight red tint. Taste of sweet carbinated cherries...almost like a thicker champaign. Lingering cherry finish. This is probably the best "fruit beer" I’ve ever had.

I am not a cherry fan, but this beer is fantasic. Poured a deep red color with a thick head that dicapted slowly. Aroma of Cherries and other fruit undertones. Very tasty little snack.

Bottle. Pours a clear deep red. Aroma of incredibly sugary cherries. The taste is reminiscent of homemade cherry pie filling. Great beer despite almost being too sweet (wish it had just a touch of tartness).

750mL bottle. Unsure why I hadn’t rated this already. Poured deep ruby with mild lacing. Flavor of sour cherries. Actually tastes like a boozy cough medicine of sorts. Medium bodied. Cough medicine with alcohol, excellent stuff.

Yeah boii. This is some funny stuff. Pour deep ruby red, with a solid onefinger white head. Aroma is sooooo packed with cherries. Plenty of cherries. Some sour cherry sweets ans slight tart in here as well, but everything has something do with cherries. Hot dang diggedy!! The taste is fruity sweet upfront, with some slightly sour notes to it as well, suiting this beer perfectly. Medium bodied, with a semi-flat carbonation. A huge thanks to Ryan for sending me this monster of a cherry bomb/adult candy - beer.

This is great! The nose is so intense with american cherry its bonkers. Just a tiny hint of tartness on the nose. It is so fruity... Its like candied cherries in fact. The taste is fresh and creamy at the same time. Fruity and just a little tart.. I would usually prefer a more sour expression but this works. It a Wisconsin friut bomb and it is a real treat. Very pleased I got to try this. It maynot be the most ballanced beer to date but who cares. It has real personality.
