4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sample at First Sunday. Pours a dark, hazy, and reddish caramel color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is strong and distinct cherries, so intense itís reminiscent of cough drops or a lollipop. Behind that is a lovely layering of raspberries, chocolate, and brown sugar. Very sweet flavor, with a good, mellow sourness. Medium body, with an acidic and crisp mouthfeel. High carbonation gives it a bubbly, velvety feel. This beer is very forward and focused. The cherries are dominant, and the rest of the beer reinforces it. The result is delicious, very drinkable, and enjoyable from initial aroma to the last sip.

75cl bottle into flute. Minneapolis.
Appearance: royal cherry red. Bubbles floating up from bottom. Very little head. Some lacing.
Aroma: heavy cherries, a little musty, a little yeasty.
Taste: sweetness up front. A little tart.
Palate: full, rich body. Lots of texture. Carbonation gives a slight bite. Rich cherry finish.
Overall: a very very rich beer. The flavor is really nice. The cherries are delicious. Very sweet.a really great beer, and might be even better with michigan cherries! :)

Strong cherry flavors. Reminds me of cherry pie and cherry slushies. Tart and sweet. Very good.

Thanks to UMNBeerhunter for this as an extra!
A: Pours deep, deep cherry red. Says over a pound of cherries in every bottle - it shows. Thick quilt of pink-tan fine foam comes and goes with tips of the drink. Excellent clarity.
S: Tart cherries with slight yeasty scent. Very mildly syrup smell.
T: Yep, cherries. Like a liquid jolly rancher. Very, very nice.
M: Thick, syrupy, light to moderate carb. This beer sticks to my mouth. Man this would be perfect with a dollop of Cherry Garcia in it.
D: Absolutely a digestif for a warm afternoon. Slowly sip while reading a book. Very nice.

Clear Ruby red with a fizzy head and high carbonation. It smells like sweet cherry fruit juice with moscato. It also tastes like cherries with some mild malt and barley notes. Very sweet tasting. Body is light and a bit syrupy but it doesnít hurt the quality. Quite tasty!

750ml bottle thanks to bytemesis! Pours nice hazy ruby red with a finger of off-white head. Nose is rich juicy cherries, berry, earthy fruit skin. Taste is cherry bliss! Lots of rich juicy cherry, cranberry, sweet fruit. So incredibly easy to drink. This one is not at all artifical tasting like so many cherry beers. Probably the best non-kriek cherry beer Iíve tried yet. Finish is sweet ripe cherry pie, very tiny hints of tart as it warms. Great!

750ml bottle In a tulip. Pours hazy, deep ruby with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of cherries, sweet malts, and light oak. Flavor the same with a lot of cherries. Average texture. A really good fruit beer.

From a roughly year old bottle. Delicious to be sure, not quite as good as the Raspberry Tart, but awesome. More beery. Definite cherry flavor.

Bomber. Thanks Mike! Pours a cloudy burnt red with a decent light pink head. Aroma of tart and sweet cherries. Taste is more sweet cherries than tart cherries. Wish it was easier to find. Drought of 2012 was a problem the way I heard it.

Hell yes. As someone who grew up a big fan of Ludenís cherry "cough drops", i love this beer. Clear reddish brown color, fizzy. Cherry syrup aroma, very reminiscent of the aforementioned Ludenís. Flavor is more sumptuous, cherry chocolate cake. A little tartness. Wears out a little after a glass but, until then, itís fantastic. Iíve never had a beer like it.
