Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

This is, quite possibly, the most exquisite beer ever brewed. It's certainly the best I've ever had. EVER. It is pure liquid ambrosia. I DREAM about this beer...And the reality is better. A true fruit ale hand-crafted in small batches from premium ingredients by a family brewery. The perfect, PERFECT balance of tartness and sweetness, with a slightly nutty aftertaste and an unbelievably smooth texture and robust color. Halfway between wine and beer and far better than either, with. Whatever you have to do to get your hands on a bottle or three of this delectable beverage, DO IT. You will NOT be disappointed. Experience this beer before you die, or you leave the world poorer.

Pours a clear shinny ruby/ red with a nice pink medium head. Aroma is strong raspberry with some lemony notes. Flavor is very balanced raspberry sweetness/ tartness with a nice and gentle sour aftertaste. Medium to light palate, really drinkable and tasty. Another winning fruit beer from NG.

750ml bottle. Aged 8 months by me. Deep, dark red with off-white head. Aroma is still a bit syrupy but head and shoulders above any non-lambic cherry beer I’ve had so far. Taste is really gorgeous. Has a sticky malt base, maybe a slightly sour brown ale, with juicy cherry goodness throughout. Sweet but never overly so. Why can’t all fruit beers be this good?

Red clear pour from 22oz bottle at home. Cherry cherry cherry. I don't like fruit beers but this is fantastic. Not too much - like a perfect fruit punch. So good.

750 mL bottle poured into a teku glass. It smells like fresh, warm cherry pie. It pours a clear and rich, dark, deep red with brown hints, topped by a slightly off-white soapy head that reduces to a big but thin soapy bubble ring with a wispy surface and a light, messy lace. The taste is highly sweet with a medium light sour and very light bitter. There’s quite a bit of soda carbonation to the thin, easy drinker. The medium light body is reminiscent of cherry soda (Cherry 7-up in particular) with a lemon lime touch. It’s crisp with a cherry pie, and slight spice, finish. There’s a sugary astringent cherry pie linger to the aftertaste.

Pours a clear dark ruby color with small pink head and practically no lacing. Aroma is mostly cherries with a bit of honey. Taste is sweet at first with a tart finish. Body is medium with lively carbonation and a slightly syrupy mouthfeel An excellent dessert beer, unless you don’t like cherries.

Clear dark ruby with a thin pink head. Big cherry and earthy wheat nose. Lovely candy and cherry flavor with some sweet earthy cherry and wheat and Belgian Amber grain note. Lovely.

Pours a very cloudy mixture of orange, red and brown, with maybe even a slight hint of pink. The aroma smells highly of cherries (maybe even a bit of a cherry cough drop scent). Wow, the flavor starts off sweet, but ends with a bitter/tartness that I can taste predominantly in the back off my mouth. Mixed in with the sweet and tart is also a hint of spiciness.

Aroma is berries. Flavor is similar to Capri Sun. Not bad but is definitely a dessert beer.
