COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

Yeah boii. This is some funny stuff. Pour deep ruby red, with a solid onefinger white head. Aroma is sooooo packed with cherries. Plenty of cherries. Some sour cherry sweets ans slight tart in here as well, but everything has something do with cherries. Hot dang diggedy!! The taste is fruity sweet upfront, with some slightly sour notes to it as well, suiting this beer perfectly. Medium bodied, with a semi-flat carbonation. A huge thanks to Ryan for sending me this monster of a cherry bomb/adult candy - beer.

22oz bottle pours dark red with small red/tan head. Sweet cherry aroma. Sweet cherries just like a cherry pie. Great beer.

Thx! to Kraddel. 75 cl. bottle sampled. Dark red, very dark strawberry look, fading dark pink head. Huge cherry candy in the nose, very sweet & candy-like, incredible & nothing else. Taste is hugely sweet cherry candy, good kind of sweeteners, pure candy, little else flavor-wise, incredibly sweet spices,.. Light very easy to drink. Pure candy, reminds me a bit of Lindemans Kriek. Love it.

Bottle trade. Very syrupy. Good flavor, share this with a friend or 3. Really only need about 4 ounces at a time.

Dense and tart, with a bit of a plum juice texture to it. Strong cherry aroma, full body and very sweet, a truly unique beer!

Snifter pour of deep hazed burnt red. Nose is great cherry and and tartness, strawberry candies... Those little red hard ones with the soft centers. Flavor is like tart cherry candy. Sweet, a little, but not overbearing. Really an enjoyable beer, and even better at 4%. I could drink this by the bottle...

Apples and cherries galore. A bit sweet, slightly medicinal amidst the distinctly New Glarus yeast strain. Pretty good, but I've had bottles that are much better. Bottle variation-- :(

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Very tasty. Tart and sweet simultaneously. Maybe even a little vinous. Only complaint is that it's a little tough to get through a big portion as the sweet/tart thing wears on your palate. Fantastic in reasonable doses. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
