5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
What a great beer to drink as my first official RB beer. It pours a cloudy ruby red with a small off white head. The heavenly aroma of sweet-tart cherries and a touch of vanilla draw me into the glass. The flavor is very well balanced. Mildly sweet with just the right amount of tartness and a smooth finish. No artificial cherry taste here. Overall a fantastic beer.

This is a fruity beer so it has a nice aroma and appearance. I do enjoy this but my stomach wouldn’t have it when I drank it. The carbonation with the fruit had a strange impact on me, but it had a great taste, and I will try it again.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle picked up in New Glarus during Labor Day. Pours hazy amber-red with a thin slightly pinkish off white head. Significant cherry aroma with a hint of sherry. Intense taste of cherries and good carbonation but goes down smooth. Tart finish that intensifies if the beer warms up a bit. Lambic-like characteristics makes the Begian Red a good drinking beer on a warm day unless you are unfortunate enough to hate cherries.

this stuff is great. a bit on the thick side with just the right amount of carbonation. the flavor of sour cherry is prominent, but not overpowering at all. lives up to the hype. highly recommended

I don’t even like cherries. So much like liquid candy, so easy. This is a dangerous brew, and one more reason I’m glad I don’t live in Wisconsin. Nose is ripe fruit, cherries (surprise!), and something like sour gummy bears. It’s acidic and thick in the mouth, like a soda. Flavor is tart, fruity, and wonderful. This is what fruity sodas aspire to be.

Pours dark red with little to no head. Aroma is what you would imagine, cherries. The flavor profiles the cherries very well. There is tartness and bitterness from the tannins of the cherry skins. Glad I was able to get two bottles. The next one will be for a special occasion.

It is hard to think of this as a beer, and so i rated upon the experience itself. It is very sweet and fruity, very easy to drink, not something you should get if you are looking for a hoppy or even any beer flavor, but if you are looking for an experience, this is the ticket.

nflmvp brought me this one. Big thanks.
A - Hazy muted red with a white head that fades quickly. Looks sort of like carbonated juice.
S - Sweet, tart cherries dominate the smell.
T - Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-cherry bomb! Yeah. I went there. Very sweet cherry flavor. Tastes like a carbonated version of French Lick Winery’s Montmorency Cherry. Very good. Slight malt in the finish.
M - I love the way it coats your mouth and sticks with you. The carbonation really adds to the whole experience.
D - Goes down really smooth. No alcohol detected at all. But that’s not really a surprise.

Yummy! This beer is the very meaning of nectar of the gods! It is good every single year. I found a local place where it is on tap and order a pitcher at a time! If I really had to pick one beer to drink, I couldn’t go wrong with New Glarus Belgian Red.
