Incredible aroma of cherry, gorgeous red-amber color, unbelievable taste of fresh cherries - quite sweet, didnít linger as long as expected on the palate. Overall an awesome fruit beer, highly recommend some chocolate while drinking it.

I’ve been looking forward to trying this beer for a very long time, and it didn’t disappoint. Pours a hazy reddish brown. Aroma and flavor is all sour cherry. Extremely well balanced, with a touch of sweetness that plays off the sour nicely. Good stuff.

Hint of cherry with a smooth taste that ends with a tart kick to it, liked it.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Finally broke down and bought a bottle to share with some friends. Even my wife, who doesn't like cherries enjoyed this brew. The cherry flavor and aroma are not overdone and the carbonation is excellent. The bottle was open for half an hur and every pour was like the bottle was just opened. The background is a belgian beer and the foreground is a freshly opened cherry 7up. One of a kind brew that we will purchase on rare occasions.

Draft at several bars in Madison, WI. Not a fruit beer fan, but really loved this stuff. Lots of cherry flavor, a little tartness to balance the sweet,, malty character in the background. Way in the background. Very nice, balanced taste and certainly drinkable.

Poured into 2 large wine glasses to share with a friend. Fantastic aroma that overpowers the local vicinity. Ruby red coloring with some nice lacing and a strawberry-cream head. The best way to describe this "beer" is an alcoholic cherry cream soda with a slightly bitter aftertaste. This would be an excellent dessert beer and I thought it was balanced nicely. It was somewhat over-the-top, but it could have turned out terribly if attempted by other brewers. This beer redefines what "beer" can be.

What can i say that hasnít already been said? The aroma and ruby red color give you a strong hint of what is about to happen but not strong enough! So many cherries from start to finish you wonít even believe it. Itís almost too much... almost. i barely notice the hops and barley and when i think of it i donít necessarily place it in the context of just beer, it is an amazing and unique beverage all around. Great carbonation, the body is just the tiniest bit too thick for me but iím nitpicking to even mention that. The oak and vinuous qualities come through a bit more with age but i prefer the fresh cherry bomb. One of my top 10 beverages everyone has to try.

WOW, this is an interesting beer. One pound or door county cherries in every large bottle makes this a unique cherry explosion. Give this one a chance if you can find it.

Pours ruby red with a one-finger light head with red highlights. Smell is all cherries, this is going to be good.....on to the drinking:
Tastes incredible with tart cherries and a medium mouthfeel with just the right level of carbonation. Iím going to have to drink this one slowly, a real treat. Putting this in my top 5 beers, would love to have more.
