4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Terminus (2892) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - FEB 25, 2002UPDATED: AUG 20, 2004 ReRate-This is one of the first beers that we sampled, so i thought i would give it a proper rating. This is one of my fav beers. This beer pours a deep garnet red with lots of hazyness. Nice pink head lasts for a while. Aroma is ripe cherries, oak and other woods. The flavor is mostly cherries and the oak aging can be detected, but is int over bearing. Very vineous and sour, but definatly desirable. The palate is sprizy and fizzy but very round and full. AWESOME brew!

Bottle trade. Very syrupy. Good flavor, share this with a friend or 3. Really only need about 4 ounces at a time.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 eruizgarcia (108) - - MAY 18, 2013
Dense and tart, with a bit of a plum juice texture to it. Strong cherry aroma, full body and very sweet, a truly unique beer!
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 tricyclist (444) - Spring Hill, Florida, USA - APR 30, 2013
Snifter pour of deep hazed burnt red. Nose is great cherry and and tartness, strawberry candies... Those little red hard ones with the soft centers. Flavor is like tart cherry candy. Sweet, a little, but not overbearing. Really an enjoyable beer, and even better at 4%. I could drink this by the bottle...
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 brystmar (458) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - APR 3, 2013
Apples and cherries galore. A bit sweet, slightly medicinal amidst the distinctly New Glarus yeast strain.
Pretty good, but I've had bottles that are much better. Bottle variation-- :(
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 conway (570) - - MAR 14, 2013
Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Very tasty. Tart and sweet simultaneously. Maybe even a little vinous. Only complaint is that it's a little tough to get through a big portion as the sweet/tart thing wears on your palate. Fantastic in reasonable doses.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Westmeister (938) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 14, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2013 Bottle. Pours a mostly clear red orande with a frothy off white head that had reddish tints and decent lacing. Aroma is overriped cherries, and then more cherries, mazipan, earthiness. Flavor is moderately sweet cherries, with a medium acidic finish. That has a long duration. Really a lovely brew and me thinks this beats Serenpidity in the NG fruit beer line up.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 dfinney23 (1004) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Surprised I didn’t like this better, considering I love cherries and have no aversion to fruit beers. Too sweet and not enough tart, perhaps.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 drsordr (206) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Bottle pour cloudy red. Nose of sweet cherry candy, almost like lifesaver. Taste of sweet and tart cherries, no bitterness. More like cherry soda. Always a fun beer year to year. I like the bottles very fresh, to preserve all the cherry aroma and flavor.
4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 rodenbach99 (2510) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 17, 2013
Sublime. Un monstre malgré ses 4% d’alcool.

Bottle courtesy of changeup45. Sweet-tart cherry and light malt aroma. Cloudy amber tinged garnet with a small creamy pink head. Sweet-tart cherry, creamy malt, smooth oaky vanilla flavor. Smooth creamy, medium full body, moderate carbonation. Simply yummy and amazing.
