COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

It is hard to think of this as a beer, and so i rated upon the experience itself. It is very sweet and fruity, very easy to drink, not something you should get if you are looking for a hoppy or even any beer flavor, but if you are looking for an experience, this is the ticket.

You can just stick an IV in my arm of this stuff and put me into a cherry coma. Anyone who rates this beer and doesn’t like it can go away. Poured at the Cajun Cafe Festival into small snifters. Brilliant deep red wityh a pink head. Aroma is a cherry bomb with jam-like notes. The taste is a cherry bomb as well. It is slightly sweet but it is so good it doesn’t matter. That’s pretty much it. Medium body, mildly sweet, slight dryness at the end. Fucking amazing.

Received this as an extra in a trade. Deep hazy red pour with a light pink head. A huge fruit explosion on the nose. Cherry fruit rollups and strawberry preserve. Sweet, bright fruits. Lovely. Taste is similar. Sweet cherry and strawberry pie filling. Light acid to keep the sweetness in check. Light body, soft carbonation. Excellent.

Excellent fruit beer. Ruby colored. Cherry and oak in the nose. Cherry dominates the taste as well, but with light tartness and sweetness. Bubbly mouthfeel. Couldn't have done a better fruit beer.

Bottle from a trade. Red colour, small head. Soft carbonation. Fruity cherry aroma with sweet hints of honey and candy. Light tartness but too sweet. Not very good.

75cl, no mention of ABV, exclusive American brew, with cherries, thx alot to Eric for bringing this over!, complex fruit brew, sweet/sour/fruity and slightly woody/vinous/spicy, yet not too heavy, balanced, hazy, small head, very good brew

Bottle pours murky red with low head. Aroma is rich cherries, sweet pie notes. Taste is big sweet cherries and a slick finish, intense sweet fruit beer

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy light brown reddish color with an off white pinkish head. Aroma is apple cider, cherries, mild tart. Better tart in the flavor than a lot of the other new glarus fruit beers, balancing out the sweetness. Sweet cherry apple tart in the finish. Very tasty.

Pours deep ruby red with a bit of quick dissipating head. Nose is cherries, cherry jam, maybe a bit of wood. Tastes like cherry pie, cherries start of sweet then get sour, definite tartness on the second half, a bit of bitterness on the finish. Tartness makes it very drinkable. It's what new Glarus does best, fruit beers. Very well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I quite enjoyed this beer. It has a nice fruity/cherry nose and flavor. It manages to balance the sweet and the sour as well as any fruit beer that I can recall. Excellent beer.

Bottle. Pour is a dark red with thick head. Cherry aroma. Taste is sweet then tart. Mouth feel is creamy with a dry finish. Too much cherry.
