COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

From bottle : WOW. I have been waiting forever to drink this and finally got around to it. It was everything I had built it up in my mind to be. Great pour with carbonation and a reddish fluffy head. Aroma is fabulous and taste is a wonderful fruity blend of cherries and the like. There is nothing I do not like about this and wish it was easier to get my hands on.

Bottle pours murky red with low head. Aroma is rich cherries, sweet pie notes. Taste is big sweet cherries and a slick finish, intense sweet fruit beer

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy light brown reddish color with an off white pinkish head. Aroma is apple cider, cherries, mild tart. Better tart in the flavor than a lot of the other new glarus fruit beers, balancing out the sweetness. Sweet cherry apple tart in the finish. Very tasty.

Pours deep ruby red with a bit of quick dissipating head. Nose is cherries, cherry jam, maybe a bit of wood. Tastes like cherry pie, cherries start of sweet then get sour, definite tartness on the second half, a bit of bitterness on the finish. Tartness makes it very drinkable. It's what new Glarus does best, fruit beers. Very well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I quite enjoyed this beer. It has a nice fruity/cherry nose and flavor. It manages to balance the sweet and the sour as well as any fruit beer that I can recall. Excellent beer.

Bottle. Pour is a dark red with thick head. Cherry aroma. Taste is sweet then tart. Mouth feel is creamy with a dry finish. Too much cherry.

Bottle @ home shared with my wife. Slightly hazy amber pour with a thin reddish head. Obviously lots of cherries here, some light vanilla and almonds with some light tartness. Good stuff!

Bottle: Thanks Hackobock: Served in a Chouffe glass: Bigger vanilla strawberry head. Deep hazy orange red body. Aromas of dusty strawberry, not much else... Flavours of strawberries, light cherries, sweet sour, some other red fruit, intense red and strawberry, light vingear burn while not sour, too tart or vinegar.... Very nice, good balance, full (red) fruity taste with light sweet malty and even some sweet but full red fruit (strawberry, cherry, etc) candy flavour. Didn’t expect this, great surprise, great taste! Aftertaste is a mix of sweets, bitters, red fruit (mainly strawberry) some light tart ish tones and sweet malts. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, close to full bodied and a creamy texture. Super intense red fruit taste, delicius stuff!

So good cherry aroma, Very raisin malts and slight roasted malts that adds so much to the multi dimensional. Great OAK. Slight wine and very tart. ANOTHER MUST!!!

This beer is easily one of my favorite beers. Cherry cobbler aroma and taste. I could drink this all day. This and Raspberry Tart make me wish I lived in Wisconsin.
