3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Enjoyed from a 750ml bottle in a stemless wine glass. The beer pours a nice ruby color, with a low head. The nose shows notes of cherries, far fuller and with more depth than many other fruit beers. The palate shows a level of sweetness similar to, if not quite as aggressive as, the Raspberry Tart, but stops short of cloying, and shows a level of fruit character unseen in any other example of the style I’ve tried. I was expecting some tart character, given the brewer’s prowess with lactobaccilus, however, none was found. The finish is semi-sweet, and leaves a nice lingering note of the featured fruit; more refined and far less jammy than the aforesaid Raspberry Tart. Overall, it is easy to see why there is so much hype for the beer, as it is the single best fruit beer available.

This beer is easily one of my favorite beers. Cherry cobbler aroma and taste. I could drink this all day. This and Raspberry Tart make me wish I lived in Wisconsin.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at Urge as part of their 4th anniversary event. Pours a dark red with a one finger white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of ripe cherries, sour cherries, wheat bread, biscuity malts, vanilla, amaretto, some sweet malts, and some light vinegar. Taste is about the same as the aroma with a nice mix of sour and sweet cherries which balance each other out nicely, with some belgian wheat notes and biscuity malts, vanilla, oak, and sweet malts in the background. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a fizzy, dry, sweet and sour, medium-long, crisp, refreshing finish. Overall, a excellent fruit beer that has a nice balance between sweet and sour cherries.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Sweet maraschino cherries. Cloudy red/brown with a decent white head. Lots of sweet cherry, but has something odd later that cuts the cloying sweetness a little. Sweet and nice but a dessert beer for sure.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by Toney at RBAG. Cloudy red/brown pour with light white head. Aroma is sweet cherries, jam, a bit of tartness. Taste is sweet cherries up front, almost no tartness, finish is a sweet cherry finish. Kind of like drinking a cherry popsicle, me like.
