Beer from a mixed six from the Pig....pours a clear yellow with smooth white head...minimal lacing. Nose is fresh / yeasty. Taste is much the same...crisp and sweet...bit of lemon in there. Another classic Wisconsin beer from New Glarus.... / so good they don’t sell outside of the Badger state...flatlanders don’t get it....will have another!

Clear yellow in color... Aroma of bread dough, grains... Flavor is light, pale bready malts, light lager yeast notes... Kinda boring, could have done without this...

Bottle. Pours a brilliant, bubbly golden yellow. Lemon peel and bread dough on the nose. Clean tasting, more bread, tart lemon, and light floral hops. One could easily down several of these...Nice beer overall.

Great Beer ... to wash my pizza down with. I hate having a really good beer and lose its flavor with a few slices of pizza. This is an overall middle of the road beer. I’ve tasted worse. I’m glad that I split a 6 pack with 2 buddies just to sample and compare. I won’t be buying any more though. So it will be RiP after my next few slices the the ramaining Yokel and thats no Jokel.

Bottle: Thanks, Will. Clear, golden-yellow body with a fluffy, slightly off-white head that recedes slowly. Aroma of sweetbread, mild honey, fresh grains, notable lager yeast, a mellow lemon spritz on the back-end, & just a touch of musty/earthy hops. Taste is very yeast forward, that distinct lager yeast with sharp edges & a crisp cleanliness. Notes of partially undercooked bread, grains, doughy biscuits, & a very mild metallic twinge. A touch of dying citrus in the finish, ending on a sharp, clean, & dry lager-yeast finale. A really nice macro alternative; super easy drinking.
