Straight from the tanks, unfiltered, this bier has undergone its third and final fermentation in the bottle in order to insure you the freshest possible lager bier. Expect this bier to be smooth, full-bodied, and slightly cloudy. The brewer’s yeast imparts a mild, fresh character which is as close as you can get to brewery fresh.

Deep yellow, fair-sized white head, slight malt nose, chewy and interesting in part, a little spicy (from yeast?, little hop character. Few try to make this beer and this is a great effort.

This zwickel pours with a nice orange-amber body topped by a thick off-white head with some lacing. The aroma is slighlty sweet but mostly bitter, grassy and hoppy with barnyard notes and a nice malty background. The flavor is sweet and malty with slight citrusy notes and a nice grassy hop presence. A very nice lager. Light to medium bodied and oily smooth.

hazy golden, with a moderate white head, this brew greats you with a malty nose. The flavor is nicely balanced w/ a juicy aspect to it. This is a nice session beer.

Amber Orange with small short lasting white head. Faint stale eggwhite and light grassy hops aroma. Medium soft very low carb almost flat body. Light bitter hops and biscuity malt start, less definitive slightly wheat beer sour middle - finish is more light grassy hops & breakfast cereal (Wheaties?) malt. I note a lot of high 3's and the odd 4 amongst its ratings but I'm working really hard to get this to a 2.5.

Soft, cottony white head and hazy honey-colored body. Aroma of musty yeast, nuts, butter and light grassy/woody hops. Bready with light citrus tang and mild hop presence. Decent balance. Interesting. This style is completely new to me but strikes my ignorant palate as a nebulous cross between a marzen, hefeweizen, and a pilsner. Whatever that means. Thanks to CaptainCougar for introducing me to this beer style.

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2004 A beautiful bright hazy amber with a medium diminishing white head. Sweet aroma of citrus, banana, honey, and light toasted bread with hints of pepper and barnyard. Medium creamy body with lively carbonation. Very smooth and refreshing. Bready flavor with hints of citrus, honey, pepper, ginger and a slight lemon tang. Very good.

Hazy golden yellow body, medium head, nice lacing. Citrus, fruit and hops in the nose. Body is medium, but alive with a "bright" carbonation. Smooth biscuity malt surrounded by citrus fruit and pepper. Could drink this all afternoon. (thanks captain cougar!)
