Bottle 22fl.oz.

[ Vintage 2010 ]. Clear medium brown red - amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, raisin, moderate yeasty, baking yeast, moderate to light heavy raisin, prune, dried dark fruit, light vinegar - aceton. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, raisin, berry - blue berry !! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121109]

Bottle @ Odense Smagning, May 2012. Pours clear ruby amber with a small white head. Nose is vinous with lots of oak, berries and caramel. Pretty American. Slight scent of balsamic vingar. Dry finish. Good.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are brett, malt, caramel, fruits and hops.

Bottle, 75cl. It pours a more or less clear body, reddish dark golden in color and with a thin layer of off-white bubbles. The aroma is berry-ish and sourish, quite straightforward. Blueberries? The flavor is mostly on the berry side, with some vinegar, lemon notes and a touch of malts. Quite dry. Berry finish. Well, not my favorite, it’s nice, but lacks big time on complexity. 121109

Vintage 2012. Chestnut colour with a small off-white head. Classic American Sour aroma of dried fruit, caramel, fresh oak barrel and mild balsamic vinegar. Sweet and sour flavour of caramel, fruit and vinegar with strong oak character.

Bottle. amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is oak, berries, malt, hop. Flavour is oak, berries, hop, malt, vanilla. Full body. Nice beer.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Clear dark brown ale with glimmers of burnt-orange and a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. The bouquet offers caramel and purple grapes with whispers of both oak and acidity. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with tickling carbonation. The flavor is quite sour - acidic and acetic – furnishing sour cherries, caramel, toasted oak and a small splash of red wine vinegar. Finishes tangy and fruity. Big-time kudos goes out to growler for sharing this world class beauty!

A new arrival at Churchkey, this was a 750 ml bottle shared with Nahem and company, as well as a DC couple next to me who did not reciprocate :-(( A clear blueish brown color (I’m not kidding, I’ve never seen a beer this color). Aroma of sour grapefruit and unidentifiable dark fruits. Taste is cranberry, slightly bitter, slightly sour (lacto), with a bitter blueberry finish. Very nice.

Bottle, 8.4% @ FOneFan. Clear amber/brown with tiny off-white head. Aroma is malt, bread, sour, little oxidized, caramel and yeast. Flavour is malt, yeast, sour, bread, very dry, vinegar and fruit.

22oz bottle. Poured a mahogany color with an off white head. Aromas of oak, lighter vinegar, cherries, and fruity. Tastes of oak, fruity, cherries, and some vanilla. Lightly sweet with a light sour finish.
