Aroma is fruit, malts, slight mustiness and a hint of blueberries. The flavor is malts, fruit, mild sweetness and a very long and tart blueberry finish. Normally don’t care for blueberry ales due to blandness, this one was actually pretty good.

Bottle - 2014 edition. Pours clear burgundy, quite beautiful actually, small tan head that dissipates quickly with some residual lacing. Aroma is oaky, vinous and fruity with tart cherry notes. Flavor is quite fruity up front, perhaps blueberry, oaky, starts lightly sweet but quickly dries out to a medium tartness. Finish is tart with light oaky astringency. Medium body. Nice beer, but I must say it is better before it warms up, oddly enough.

A mahogany body sports vibrant cranberry highlights gradiating to sunset amber at the edges beneath a short, tight light khaki head falling to a solid ring and a few dots of lace

Aromas and flavors of natural fleshy over-ripe fruit, plumb, blackberry, hints of dark cherry, citrus, solid tartness with added depth of oaky barn on a spritzy, juicy, oaky medium-light body creating solid sour-n-sweet residuals of the previously mentioned components, very solid

Clear, iced tea colored, with little beige islands of foam floating on top. Fruity, sour aroma, with a lactic note. Flavor is more complex than the aroma lets on - sour and fruity, but also a woodsy component, as well as something like sour cream (in a good way). As it warms, more lemony, woodsy flavors emerge.

Aroma:Yum! There’s the harsh sour smell, as well as blueberry pancakes with syrup or honey. Appearance:Amber in color with lots of off-white head that dissipates quickly. Taste:This is a nice mild sour, with good fruit flavors on the foretaste. There are blueberries as well as other mixed berries. The aftertaste is a little watery as the flavors get diluted and fade. Palate:Slightly harsh, light to medium body, good carbonation. Overall:This is an easy drinking sour. It would be very easy to put a lot of this away in one sitting.

A delicious sour beer! It’s been quite some time since I’ve had a new sour and this beer reminds me why I love them so much. Aroma is nice. Sour cherry and vinegar. Pour was a nice deep ruby with a few tan splotches for a head. Taste was nice , sour and drying. Cherry, grape and vinegar with slight hints of oak. Very strong sour aftertaste with heavy carbonation. Great beer!

Thanks to jlanning215 for this one in trade. Pours dark red-amber with an off-white head. Nose is some vinegar, berry, tart, oak, and a mild funk. Flavor is similar with berry, oak, tart, and a semi sweet finish that transitions into a dry quality. This is a great gateway sour with well-hidden booze.

Bottle. Pours purplish brown. Tan head. Nose/taste of oak, tart blueberry and wild yeast. Taste also has hints of tobacco, cocoa and lots of sour malt. Medium body.
