COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Little Johnís local bees create a spring wildflower-honey that lends a sweet, earthy complexity to a traditional style of beer (triple) with a balancing snap of ginger in the finish.

Delicious with a truckload of honey and well-disguised alcohol, distinct but still noticeably classic.

Decent triple. Aromas of banana, yeast and a little bubble gum flavour which adds some funk to this triple. Floral leave with some yeast. Pours clear gold, average carbonation. On tap at Hopcat.

Bottle. Pours a crystal clear light amber color with a smallish white head. Nose is a little sweet with hints of honey and spice in there. Taste has a hint of sweetness, but is remarkably light and easy to drink. One of the best tripels Iíve ever had.

Bottle:   Amber, moderate sudsy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Honeydew melon aroma, otherwise very bready.   Shrubby spices up front, malty, meatly, backside shows some of that honeydew melon.   Light ginger emerges as this beer warms.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Comes across as a little sticky, but thankfully not too much.   As far as American Tripels go, this one has a mountain shrub sort of spiciness, a bit earthy and alpine region like.   Interesting, albeit a bit average.

Tap. Amber with small head. Strong honey, mild ginger bite and extremely pleasant. Very good, unique flavor and complexity.

Tap. Orange pour with white head and a lot of lacing. Very malty flavor with slight citrus hop bitterness. Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured on tap into a tulip glass. Pours a nice clear copper color with a whited head that doesnít last too long. Aroma is floral, honey, malt, and maybe ginger. Taste is crisp, light malt. The honey does not seem to come through, but it does have a smooth finish. It hides the alcohol really well. Body is light with medium carbonation. Overall a decent beer.

Aroma: Faint honey aroma with heavy malt and yeast aromas. Appearance: Clear amber with thick head. Taste: Medium sweetness with slightly sour finish. Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, long finish Overall: Very sweet and uncomplex beer. Reminds me of mead, almost. No depth or dimension.

Bomber to tulip. Looks solid; a semi-transparent burnt-orange with white lacing. Smells and tastes solid too; much like the name suggests. Average on the palate. Good.
