Little John’s local bees create a spring wildflower-honey that lends a sweet, earthy complexity to a traditional style of beer (triple) with a balancing snap of ginger in the finish.

Im surprised this isnt rated higher. The ginger & honey are tasty in beer, would like to find something similar... But I doubt it’d compare

Tap. Orange pour with white head and a lot of lacing. Very malty flavor with slight citrus hop bitterness. Ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured on tap into a tulip glass. Pours a nice clear copper color with a whited head that doesn’t last too long. Aroma is floral, honey, malt, and maybe ginger. Taste is crisp, light malt. The honey does not seem to come through, but it does have a smooth finish. It hides the alcohol really well. Body is light with medium carbonation. Overall a decent beer.

Aroma: Faint honey aroma with heavy malt and yeast aromas. Appearance: Clear amber with thick head. Taste: Medium sweetness with slightly sour finish. Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, long finish Overall: Very sweet and uncomplex beer. Reminds me of mead, almost. No depth or dimension.

Bomber to tulip. Looks solid; a semi-transparent burnt-orange with white lacing. Smells and tastes solid too; much like the name suggests. Average on the palate. Good.

Thanks to TNT for the bottle. Light spice and a bit of alcohol. Touch of ginger. Nose muted. Very dry. A bit boozy. Pepper as it warms.

I can smell the honey, but the taste is too subtle for me to pick up either that or the ginger. Very light flavor in general.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized light tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent red brown colored body. The nice aroma was candy and malty. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of crystal malt Irish red malt and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

A reddish copper ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, a sweet honey malt with dark fruits and candy floss. In mouth, a sweet honey malt with grassy hops and light coriander, alcohol. Bottle at Mondial 2012, June 9 2012.

Bottle. Aroma has notes of honey, caramel Malts, Belgium yeasts, and bread. Medium amber hue with a small head that mostly diminished and left no lace. Flavor is heavy sweet and medium bitterness. Palate is full bodied and oily soft. Overall a good tripel.
