On tap at the brewpub on 4/28/06: Pours a fairly dark brown with a thin wispy off-white head. Aroma is mildly dry, earthy and toasty with a hint of noble hops. Body starts with a nice, fresh toasty dark caramel malty flavor and some bittersweet caramel popcorn flavor. Nicely-balanced and fairly unique for a brown ale.

On tap at New Holland. Dark with no head. darker than most brown ales. flavor of sugar, mollasise, and chocolate.
