Robust in character yet smooth in delivery, Cabin Fever is a roasty brown ale and a hearty, comforting companion for long, mind-bending winters. Its rye, roast and raisin notes play off a subtle caramel sweetness and culminate in a dry finish. Excellent with roasts, stews, caramelized onions and snowfall.

Thanks to Dad. Smells almost like root beer but but you know it really didn’t bother me. It was smooth and creamy and tasty with roasted malt maybe a slick mouth feel. Too much roast and dark to be a brown ale maybe like a porter or something like that. Serving: Bottle

Bourbon, dark candy, raisins, caramel malt, roasted nuttiness and a hit of alcohol. Thick body and a touch of hoppiness on the finish.

Nice for when you want something a little heavier, but not porter heavy. Very drinkable with a crisp finish.

Decent brown ale, little heavier in body and malts a little more roasted than most brown ales. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is a hint of chocolate and roasted coffee. Pours a dark brown with an decent tan head. Taste is dark chocolate, with roasty malt and coffee. Not overly sweet but well balanced. Medium bodied. Overall, an excellent beer.

Really loving brown ales and was disappointed with this one. Had an onion flavor. Not much roasted malt flavor at all. Strong booziness to it as well smells like an onion. Pours black with a tan h mead. Had at home. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
