COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Robust in character yet smooth in delivery, Cabin Fever is a roasty brown ale and a hearty, comforting companion for long, mind-bending winters. Its rye, roast and raisin notes play off a subtle caramel sweetness and culminate in a dry finish. Excellent with roasts, stews, caramelized onions and snowfall.

Pours a rich medium brown opaque with a nice head of tan bubbles that disappear moderately quickly. Nose is dry and maybe some odd scents. Medicinal? Taste is more of the odd medicinal taste that is somewhat sweet and slightly off. Some nut in the finish. Not sure if this beer is bad or old. Will re-review if i sample again.

Pours a very dark brown with a white head. Smells of malty brown sugar. Taste is smooth and like the aroma but lacking any legs. Ok beer

12 oz bottle that was part of the Winter 2012 World Market 9 pack, courtesy of my in-laws. The pour is brown with ruby highlights, along with a well formed one inch light tan head. The aroma is a nice fresh nut and wood smoke and some soft spice yeast in the back. The taste is the nut, lightly sweet malt, and a pleasant soft roast. As it warms, the spice yeast of the nose shows as more of a dried fruit. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation, and the finish is and earthy dried fruit. Nice brown.

Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. aromas of cocoa, carmel, brown sugar and light fruittiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cocoa, carmel and light brown sugar with a smooth lingering cocoa finish.

A very nice dark ale. Lighter than stouts and porters, but a very full flavored beer.

Deep, dark brown beer with a thick foamy head that disappears quickly after arrival. Aroma is a lil chocolaty, molases, malty nutty goodness. The flavor has a touch more bite than the aroma. It’s a good beer but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a 1 finger off white head. Aroma is heavy on roasted malt and a touch of rye. Taste is still dominated by roasted malt but some chocolate and caramel sweetness adds great balance. Palate is smooth and full with just enough carb to keep it lively. A nice winter warmer, but a higher ABV could have been nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at craft ale house. Pours hazy brown with minimal head. The aroma has cocoa, caramel, some extra sweetness. The taste has some chocolate, nuts, maybe a bit of raisin.
