COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Robust in character yet smooth in delivery, Cabin Fever is a roasty brown ale and a hearty, comforting companion for long, mind-bending winters. Its rye, roast and raisin notes play off a subtle caramel sweetness and culminate in a dry finish. Excellent with roasts, stews, caramelized onions and snowfall.

Sweet refreshing aroma. Little head. Slightly sweeter with Carmel and toffee flavors. Almost reminds me of a xmas ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Has a deep reddish brown color. A nutty aroma with a hint of caramel. The rye stands out but dose not over power the taste. Hints of caramel and nuts, with a mild hop finish. Had it with sauer braten, it was a great pairing.

The aromas don’t set you up for how complex this brew is. It starts off almost like a chocolate bock, but then the roasted and smoked malt sneak in with a touch of dark caramel. The liberal use of rye adds nice texture and flavor. The hops round out the creamy mouthfeel with a strong earthiness. And the lacing is like a coat of snow on top of a cabin deep in the woods.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasty, caramel and dark chocolate. Taste is sweet with the roastyness adding some bite. Medium mouth feel that drinks very smooth.

12 oz. bottle yields dark brown body with good-size beige head that fell relatively quickly, but left a nice lacing pattern. Nutty, earthy nose; smooth, malty-sweet palate entry with a smoky, raisin/date flavors, well-balanced by a healthy hop bill that culminates in a long-lasting, dry finish. I can’t quite place the rye malt component, but it would seem to add a bit of licorice flavor and dryness to the beer. Good cold weather beater--as advertised.

Very malty with a sweet, caramel-like taste that is complemented by nut, roasty malt, and woodiness. Very smooth.

Roasted and toasted malt aroma. Biscuit, pretzel, and a bit of earth, too. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is full of toasted biscuit malts, light roasted malt, and some earthy hops. Nice.

cola and caramel in a robust and silky body. bit of soapy hop in the substantial brownish head nice and foamy with a touch of alka seltzer zing . a finish that lingers momentarily and is moderate with sweetness. a cherry and alcohol characteristic in the taste with a bit of soy sauce like balance. deep brown color with amber highlights.
