COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, aged with Chili de arbol peppers in the barrels, is one of a series of innovative specialties to sneak out of our Dragonís Milk Cellar. The earthy pepper character mingles with the dark roasted tones of the Dragonís Milk as the spice slowly warms your palate, pleasantly contrasting the deep malt character. Pairings red meat, smoked foods, balsamic, rich cheese & dark chocolate.

On tap at the score, Aroma is chocolate and peppers. Taste is bourbon and chocolate up front with some subtle pepper, and then the pepper really kicks in... very nice

Sample at EBF. Pours coca cola brown with a big beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, vanilla, a hint of spice. Taste is regular dragons milk, and then you turn into a fire breathing dragon. Nice heat. Well done, but I wouldnít want a lot of it.

Pour on tap, dark black pour with thin off white head, aroma brought notes of cocoa, roast, some slight veggie note into a bit of lactose, touch of coffee notes into a bit of the chili. Taste was a mix of oak, roast, some vanilla, lactose note into big heated chili, some slight cocoa, finishing spicy. A bit over the top.

Wonderful appearance and aroma of the Dragonís Milk that I know and love. The flavor, though, is a different story. The peppers arenít so much noticeable in the flavor but the heat is just overwhelming. It slowly continues to build until the beer becomes hard to drink. Admittedly Iím not a big fan of chili beers and this one is just way over the top.

Dark mahogany pour with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt. Taste is creamy, roasted malt, peppers, a nice heat. Roasted malt and peppers make a nice combination of taste. Nice lacing.

Chocolate brown in color with an off-white head. Sweet with a chocolatey aroma. Sweet chocolatey taste; lightly boozy with a touch of heat in the finish.

Pours a dark black with a hint of ruby. Small tan head. Roasted malt with dark chocolate up front. Hint of dark fruit. Hear is slow to build but becomes quite prominent. Full bodied. Long chocolate finish with continuous burn.

Bottle... Pours cloudy and dark brown with a fleeting, khaki head. The aroma offers a luxuriant coupling of chocolate crŤme and vanilla. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor presents dark, sweet chocolate and chili peppers. The chili heat kicks in big-time in the finish. A big hug of spicy warmth. Bottle courtesy of FlandersNed!

(draft @ HopCat - Grand Rapids, MI) Dark brown pour with a thick tan head. Huge chocolate, chili and oak notes. Flavor is a spice bomb. Lots of chocolate and chilis with a really good burn to it. Some light chocolate and vanilla notes smooth it out at the end. Incredible.
