COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dragonís Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

This beer pours very dark with a small however frothy head. The aroma is dominated by maltiness. The taste is damn good on the front, oaky, bourbon and chocolate in the middle and sickning sweet achocol on the end. I would have enjoyed it better with a slighty lower gravity so i could enjoy the complexity, without getting slapped in the face by the alcohol in the end.

4oz sampler at Waldo Pizza. Pours jet black. Aroma of peat, smoke, bourbon. Very strong bourbon flavor, wood, smoke, vanilla. A wintertime beer.

22 oz. bottle, courtesy of Ferris, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out bourbon barrels, roasted malt, and lactose. Flavour is incredibly smooth and complex, with bourbon, lactose, roasted malt and vanilla. Amazingly complex, with a silky smooth palate. ABV is completely well-hidden. Fantastic stuff.

12 oz bottle poured into a belgian tulip glass at roughly 55-60 degrees. Dark brown to black pour with tiny hints of red, light can barely permeate. Small tan head that leaves a thin film and dissipates fairly quickly leaving behind some decent lacing. Smells of vanilla, bourbon, a little butterscotch. Tastes of vanilla, bourbon, oak, char, light coffee, little butterscotch and a touch of chocolate. A little heat at the end with a medium to light body for the style. A very nice, well rounded imperial stout. Not as much of a sipper as some which could lead to trouble. Quite good although not a style Iíve visited in years.

Nice vanilla, but a little thin for the size. Bourbon barrel isnít overdone, though.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small creamy tan head that left nice lacing. Aroma of caramel, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate and roast. Flavor was a great balance of bourbon, caramel, vanilla, oak, chocolate and toffee. Creamy smooth texture, full body, soft carbonation.

Pitch dark w a strong alcohol content (11%). Strong burbon barrell taste - really a great winter bear that will go well with whisky (peaty type).

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass, black color with a hint of brown. A little light can be seen through the full glass of beer. A small tan head that fades away to slight lacing. Mouthfeel is pretty thin for an imperial stout. This is one heck of a drinkable BBA stout...dangerously easy to down a few of these. At 11%ABV it will catch up with you. The bourbon is not very forward here, But a good beer for sure! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours opaque dark chocolate with a small tan head. Aroma is vanilla, chocolate and a bit of oak. Pretty thick in body, but not sticky. Flavor is complex and delicious. Vanilla is in the forefront, but there are also nice roasted chocolate and coffee overtones. In the background are oak, alcohol, char and a bit of a hop bite. This is really my kind of beer.
