COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dragonís Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

bottled. Pours a very dark brown w/ copper accents yet really looks stout-ish. Nose is weak but of sweet malt. First few sips are really complex but this soon breaks down to sweet malts w/ vanilla & alcohol profile. Almost has a milk stout quality, & very hard to believe this was barrel aged, but wow! Very smooth; plain & simple.

Oak, vanilla character with notes of chocolate on the aroma. Appearance is a very dark brown with a small tan head. Flavor has a strong vanilla character with notes of oak, chocolate, high fruity esters and expresso. Mouthfeel is medium with medium carbonation. Overall, it's a good tasting bourbon barrel stout. I'd prefer a little less vanilla though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Old rating. Bomber from Old Town. Pours a deep dark brown with a thin beige head. Good lacing throughout. Aromas of vanilla, bourbon, milk chocolate and licorice. Nice big body with medium carbonation and an oily mouthfeel. Slightly warming on the finish.

Deep dark brown body with a small light brown head. Aromas of leather malty tones. Very creamy and thick chocolate flavour with malted roast notes. Creamy full body. Nice creamy feel and good balance.

Dark black with some red hue. Hot. Woody. Good baseline bourbon barrel stout. Tasted at carters bottle share.

Sampled from a 12 oz. bottle at the Big Texas Beer Fest. Poured an opaque black with a tan head and lacing. Taste of chocolate milk, vanilla and very subtle roasted malts. Average carbonation, full body, oily texture.

Near black with a beige head. Aroma is strong sweet milk chocolate, vanilla, and caramel. Taste follows the nose and is very easy to drink. Alcohol is completely hidden. Slick full body. Really nice beer.

Wow. The first sip is mind-blowing. Then itís still excellent. Bourbon, vanilla combine to almost be a coconut flavor.

A hot beer without the complexity to mask it. Palate is very light but with the high abv kick. Would not buy again
