biggenius29 (155), Hamilton, Michigan, USA Jun 13, 2007 Bottle served in a pint glass. Pours brown with a large light brown rocky head with a head that is mostly diminishing but some very good lacing. The aroma is of caramel and a slight hint of oak. Takeing a drink all I can say is wow. Caramel malts, along with molasses and a slight nuttyness, with a subtly oakyness. There is also some butter and butterscotch. The body is full with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. BrockLanders (109), San Diego, California, USA Jun 7, 2002 The iceman and I had this fine brew and damn is it delicious. It is definitely strong but not overpretentious in taste. Bourbon overtones are present but it has a smooth and complicated finish. Truly another fine beer from Brett Vanderkamp ant NHB!! broncoman (8), new monmouth, New Jersey, USA does not count Mar 17, 2008 wow, wow, wow. the perfection of the dark ale. rich bold flavor of a stout, with the bitternessoftened with incredible vanilla, and enriched with oak. mixed in this complex bew are hues of coffe, and hopps. this is an awesome brew, so rich, enjoyable and easy drinking. i plan to stock this brew as much as i can get. bipolar1 (267), Hancock, Michigan, USA Jun 17, 2006 Nice frothy beige head, well carbonated and not syrupy. Pleasing malt aromas and flavors make this seem more like a milkshake than a beer. Very satisfying, rich, and delicious. mynameisjonas (206), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Nov 28, 2006 wow. this beer has great aroma and taste. it is a very thick beer. it kind of reminded me of the bells 7000 in thickness
