Dragonís Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

one of the reasons for the slightly lower score is due to the fact this felt a bit more like a stout our porter than a strong ale. call me crazy, but i just dont agree on the classification.

Bottle, black beer, almond colored head dissapeared, but decent lace. Aroma molasses, anise, vanilla, bourbon, dried plum. Taste is molasses, vanilla, coffee, cherries, bourbon, cookies. This is a bit sweet, but suprisingly juicy, and a nice anise finish. Palate is rich but not syrupy, carbonation very subdued. This is a great desert beer. Ice cream would not be wrong here.

Jet black, with cherry red edges. Bubbly mocha head. Iím going to skip the usual aromas and tastes claptrap, and say this is chocolate colliding with bourbon....nay, embracing it, caressing it and merging into a sum greater than the whole. I fear I am underrating this outstanding gem.

Pours an opaque dark brown with khaki colored head. Roasted malt, chocolate, oak, bourbon, and vanilla sweetness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with bourbon and cocoa.

Aroma chocolate, roasty, wet wood, Appearance black, minimal head, tan foam, Taste wet wood, medium sweetness, Palate medium body, full body, Overall taste great but didnít get much bourbon. Got more oak and wet wood. Hides the alcohol very well. I would suggest this beer to a friend who likes a stronger tasting beer

750 ml bottle. Nice dark pour with beige head. Roasted malt aroma with nice oak balance. Not real heavy on the tongue. Smooth with nice oak undertones.

Big bottle into tulip. Served lightly chilled. Off white, thick soft head disipates fairly quickly. Light lacing. Beer is deep black color. Aroma is fairly strong with notes of fruits and honey. Taste is malty and light to medium sweet. Noticable alcohol.Strong notes of oak and vanilla. Some chocolate. Soft, somewhat creamy finish. Full bodied beer. Overall great enjoyable beer. Likely on my list of top 10 barrel aged stouts.

. Pitch blackish, with a ruby fringe. Head of thin off-white. Aroma of light honey, port and cherries. Sugary fruit flavor, with obscene amouns of vanilla sugar, gentle candied bourbon and molasses. The barrel just leaks tremendous amounts of flavor. Fantastic. Delectable. Creamy sugary sweetness. Cool, lucious silkyness that I look for and love in various barrel aged beers. Itís almost condensed to the point of syrup
