COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dragonís Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

Oh my. Dragonís Milk is one of those beers thatís been on my radar for a while. Now that Iíve had it, I understand the hype. This is a beautifully complex beer. Appearance is black with tan foam. Aroma is bourbon, roasted malt, cream, and wood. Flavor reveals coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and oak. Body is full, warm, and strong. This stuff is potent but dangerously easy to drink.

Bottle at GBBF, Olympia, London, 2015. Dark brown pour with a wispy white head. Rich dark malty aromas of raisin, dark fruit and chocolate. Flavours of licorice toffee, chocolate and coffee. Deep warming alcohol. Nice.

Bottle/Fest. A- Cocoa, bourbon, subtle coffee, subtle vanilla. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Cocoa, booze, subtle vanilla, coffee, oak. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth rich finish. O- A very nice beer that I wish I could have some more of to really appreciate. Just the right amount of booze. I imagine the barrel aged one would almost be overbearing.

Beer is not a bad drinker. I could see myself having a few of these, it has an aftertaste that I'm not fond of but I would drink again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
