shawnm213 (882), South Bend, Indiana, USA May 23, 2009 on tap. pours a clear amber with an offwhite head. tastes like bazooka bubble gum with some booze. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA May 16, 2009 Bottle most likely in trade from a forgotten source. Thanks! Pours orange and clear with a white head. Smell is malty, caramel and tast is caramel, a touch of booze and lightly aged hops. Drinkable, decent barley wine, but not too extraordinary. livelaughlovep (96), Lakewood, Ohio, USA May 11, 2009 I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, but being a major hophead I had to try it. Really nicely balanced, juicy citrus flavors from the hops, malt backbone supports it. Nice sharp bitter finish. hopson (591), Williamsville, New York, USA May 5, 2009 draft at buckeye- pretty disappointed with this one- just not much there- kind of just goes down- sweet and alcoholic- where are the hops- pretty muddled presentation. Theis (3617), Denmark Apr 23, 2009 Bottle at a Club-Tasting (Thx to You). Clear golden - white head. Nutty, berries, toasted, fruity, high hoppy, caramel, amber malts, grass, pine, peachy, light perfumed, spicy, citrus. Nice. Mette (224), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 19, 2009 Flaske, drukket sammen med klubben. Uklar lys orange, næsten intet skum. Duft af parfume, karameller, nødder, peber. Smager let støvet, orange/grapefrugt, abrikos. Lidt tynd i mundfylden. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Apr 18, 2009 Bottle thx to me. Hazy and amber coloured with almost no head. Quite well balanced with notes of caramel, malt, spices, dried fruit and citrus hops. sirpsycho (342), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours a madium amber, very thin and wispy light tan head. Aroma is hops, malt, caramel, maybe some citrus. Flavor is classic barleywine, sweet malt, caramel and hop notes.
