Full bodied with lots of chewy, caramelly malt, as well as citroc hops and alcohol. Full flavoured and very hoppy. Bready and sweaty. Salty very bitter finish. Powerful, yet not brash.

Aug 19, 2007 (Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Slightly hazy amber golden with a yellowish head. Fat aroma of caramel and hops. Very full in body with loads of sweet caramel and nuts and a hoppy finish. To me this is a classical American barley wine. 150807

Aug 25, 2007 RB#: 1300: From 1 pint 6 fl oz. (said Existential Ale on the label just like the image here). Pours orange with a lacing head. Dry raisin and malty aroma. Flavour is dry slight liqourice and hoppy. A dry and great flavour and finish. Fantastic.
