Commercial Description:
Consider it an extremely hoppy barleywine, or a really big IPA. Either way, ten hop additions contribute to its lush and intriguing body. Aggressive dry-hopping brings a strong citrus character to the aroma. The flavor and smell of orange-blossoms pervade throughout the experience.
Ingredience:Water,Barley(200 pounds per barrel of American-grown malted barley),Hops(10 hop-strikes,totaling 17 ounces per barrel of American-grown hops) and yeast(it is what it is).

Bomber thanks to Axilla. Poured clear copper in color with a small white head. Aroma of piney and floral hops with an underlying sweet grainy malt nose. Tastes of strong piney, floral and citrus hops with some sweet malt backbone. Alcohol warmth in the finish. Certainly more like a Double IPA.

Courtesy dchmela. Pours a clear, dark orange color with a small, creamy, beige colored head. The dense, oily body shows its sticky legs on the glass, leaving spots and flares of lacing behind. The aroma shows massive amounts of buttery toffee and rich caramel malts, accompanied by a similarly huge orange and grapefruit hop billing. Flavors too, were straightforward but intense. Grassy, citrusy hops do well to slice through the substantial sweetness of the caramel and toffee, imparting a welcoming, spicy bitterness. The mouthfeel is big and viscous, without being overly cloying. Borderline barleywine/IIPA. NIce brew.

Bomber courtesy Durhambeer. Dark amber pour with a thin white head. Huge malty malty grassy hop bitter aroma that just knocks you in the head from first sniff. Spicy hops, bitter grassy and dry with a big malt presence. Very intense and very close to a barley wine. I have a feeling the hops may have faded a little, but top notch beer nonetheless.

The aroma is a little malt, citrus. The head is frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. The color is copper and clear. The initial flavor is hoppy, bitter and citrus. The body is light to medium and the texture is creamy, just a touch watery. I would classify it as a big hoppy beer, but I’ll get one to age and see how it does.

Needed to calm my nerves a bit, and I’d been thinking about trying this one for a while, so I picked it up at binnys. Orangish pour with thin white head, doesn’t really look like anything special. The aroma is syrupy and hoppy, with some caramel. Taste is a hop explosion, with some oak, herbs, medicine. I was about halfway through the bottle when I say it was 11%. Woah, could not taste that much alcohol at all. This isn’t excellent, but it’s pretty close. Would buy this again.
