Clear gold pour with a very thin white head. Grain, cereal, and hops are evident in the mild aroma. Fairly smooth with ample carbonation. The overall mild sweetness of cereal and grain is pushed aside at the end by a punch of hops. Not a bad brew but nothing too exciting.

Refreshing and very drinkable. Light aroma with light to medium body. Finish is clean and abrupt. Enjoyable from the first sip to the last.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2016 This is actually a fabulously tasting beer. The subtle citrus flavor is great. It’s lightly bitter and medium sweetness make it very smooth going down and easy to enjoy with any meal, particularly fish and chicken.

Pours up a golden orange color. Minimal white head. Aroma includes cereal, honey, pastry, and a hint of yeast funk. Taste is smooth with a creamy concoction of dough, cereal, yeasty funk and some slight prickly bubbles. Finishes with a slight hop taste. Not bad.

Bottled. Pours very clear. Mild to no head. Aroma is mild malt. Pear, apples, Meh. Flavor is malty. Apples. Slightly buttery. It’s a kolsch.

Maybe expected a little more from the brewer, if not the Americanized version of the style. Pleasant mellow citrus and bread flavor and aroma, and a crisp enough body, just a little too boring and one dimensional.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a fair head that fades quickly. Aroma of grass, with mild citrus and malt. Taste of citrus, malt sweetness and trace of grain. Fairly mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, crisp clean and refreshing. Nice beer good for a couple.

Bottle at home. Yellowish golden pour with an enormous white head. Crackery aroma with hay and fresh grass. Light bodied with obvious high carbonation. Saaz hop flavor in the forefront. Light lemon and a grassy, crisp, finish. Lacks that smooth fat roundness of a true Kolsch (or a decent American Kolsch style). This is pilsnerish.
