COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As the story goes, the charm of the Cap hails an otherwise mischievous band of winged-monkeys to carry out any three commands its owner wishes, such as carrying you from vast scarlet poppy fields to Emerald City, or even to the comfort of a country farmhouse. Golden Cap Saison however, brings the comfort to you with its modern interpretation of a traditional farmhouse ale. A soft, pale beer, Golden Cap accentuates the flavors and aromas of summer fields. Brewed with an ancestor to wheat called spelt, and bottle-conditioned; it's straw-colored body accentuated with lively carbonation and unique fermentation profile evoke fresh cut hay and cracked peppercorns. Ep-pe, pep-pe, kak-ke! Hil-lo, hol-lo, hel-lo! Ziz-zy, zuz-zy, zik!

Bottle @ home. Somewhat hazy, dull, orange golden appearance with a fairly sizable white head. Sweet pineapple, mango, orange citrusy, Belgian yeasty, tangy, somewhat spicy yeasty aroma. Bready, spicy, a touch peppery, Belgian yeasty, tangy pineapple, orange fruity flavor. Not bad.

Multiple bottles of this. Amanda liked it, so we had several. Pours out a yellow color with a white head on it. Smell is fruity, full of hay, and a slight hop bitterness in the nose. Taste smooth and easy to drink with a pretty high carbonation. Not a bad saison, but not anything to write home about.

Bottle. Cloudy straw color, small off white head. Aroma of cardboard and straw. Taste is slightly sour white pepper, citrus, bitter finish. Not very well balanced. High carbonation.

12oz bottle, ABV listed as 6.25%. Hazy faded yellow color, minimal white head. Carbonation is prominent, but soft. Very peppery. Some lemon-peel zest, clove.. Hay is a pretty appropriate description for the malt backbone, but it’s secondary. Light bitterness. Not bad.
