3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 DrBayern (1139) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - DEC 4, 2009Hazy gold, small and quickly settling white head, little lace. Light fruit -apricot and peach, apice. Light to medium body, tingly, palate cleansing effervescence. Lots of honey sweetness on the front end, a big kick of peppery spice enters quickly, soft bitterness that yields to a lingering stickiness. Interesting, lots of character, a little sweet for my tastes, but refreshing nonetheless.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 tectactoe (30) - - JUN 19, 2013
Bright straw-yellow, though murky and hazy throughout with a stark white head and some nice lacing. Lemon zest and Lemon Pledge, light Candi sugar, gets more "Belgian-esque" as it warms up; think along the lines of a tripel more than a saison. Taste contains a very slight lemony tartness along with some residual sugary sweetness, musky, dry, and "worn-out" hops, bready malt, and a very slight dry, yeasty funk in the finish. Slick, dry, crisp finish on this thin-medium bodied saison. Saison-tripel hybrid, just a bit better than New Holland’s replacement, Monkey King.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 hotstuff (3350) - Indiana, USA - APR 11, 2013
Backlog rating 1-27-2009 (Bottle) This beer pours a medium sized white fizzy frothy head that has pour retention, slightly hazy body, fair amount of lacing, lively carbonation, and the hue of the body is pale yellow. The Aroma is coriander, wheat, fruity, malty, and biscuits. This beer tastes sweet, spicy, fruity, and wheat. The Palate is tingly and this is a light-medium bodied beer. This beer is quaffable and refreshing and would be a beer I would consider drinking in the summer.

Draft at craft ale house. Pours hazy yellow with a big white head. There is tons of carbonation in the glass. The aroma has a ton of sweet citrus fruit, almost like a juice box. The taste has a nice hop kick and a dry, lemon finish. There is a bit of pepper spice.
