3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark copper color with a small head. Toasty and wet biscuit aroma with some caramel. Strong biscuit and caramel taste. Very light piney bitterness. Much more like an ESB than IPA.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a hazy copper color. No head at all. Smells like dirty fish tank water. Taste is thin, watery and a bit like dirty water. If I try real hard I may get some hop flavor. Almost no bitterness.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle shared at jcwattsrugger’s winter tasting. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus and slight chocolate. Appearance of a clear honey orange body under a small light beige head. Light thin mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Flavors of slightly grassy hops, caramel and chocolate malts. Drinkable and forgetable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle - Pours light amber-orange with a very small head. It smells of earthy hops and some background malt. The flavor is earthy, grassy hops with moderate bitterness and maybe a touch of pine. There’s some lingering bitterness in the finish. This is a solid IPA but don’t expect a citrus heavy west coast style brew. These are fresh Michigan hops.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours clear and copper, one finger ivory head that stays for a few minutes and leaves spotty lacing. This was the best part about this beer. Weak, malty nose with fig and apricot. Taste is dry, bitter and flat. I’m sure the taste was better a few months ago but currently there is not much left on the palate.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear dull dark amber pour with thin ring of tan head. Didn’t think the bottle was that old, but apparently this one was. Old hops, a little stale. Big malt profile. Not bad, but not what I had hoped for. Guess this one needs to be drank immediately after it is brewed!

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Barley malt aroma. Clear dark copper, headless. Malt and dried leaves. Alcohol is noticeable. Drinks like an amber, perhaps a pale ale, but a little too dark. I hardly would call it an IPA as it lacks much of a hop presence, save for a subtle green leafiness in the finish. Decent beer though
