COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Michigan grown hops are the story in this seasonal harvest ale. Hopivore is wet-hopped with hops added to the brew just hours after harvest, creating rare, fresh flavors.

on tap at Busters on 28th, nice try New Holland just make more dragons milk, this is a weak attempt perhaps a Pale Ale, but don’t call it an IPA.. for being an APA its not half bad though, easy drinking and would be a decent break from the Oktoberfests.

Bottle from mari’s. Pours clear copper with a big cream head. The aroma Is floral and fairly one dimensional. The taste is medium bitter with a nice fresh hoppy finish.

Pint at Tylers Apex. Ok aroma, sweet, citrus, orange, toasted malt. Brownish orange color. Good head, faded quick, spotty lace. Bittersweet flavor. Medium body, light creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. It’s ok, easy drinking. Nothing more to say

I don’t remember liking this beer very much when I first tried it a couple years ago, but I have definitely enjoyed it this year. The hop notes have an interesting subtle, earthiness to them that, together with the substantial malty backbone really make this a thick, complex beer. The slightly bittersweet and sour finish lasts quite some time. Nose is especially notable-- really great earthy floral smells. I also like that they got such impressive, champagney carbonation in a meaty harvest ale. Good beer (this time around)

Bottle. Orange amber, golden cream. Light earthy fresh hop aroma. Medium body, sparkly on the palate. Very broad fresh hops - grassy, citric, earthy.

Amber appearance with little head. Not an overwhelming aroma, but has hints of floral and grass smells. Tastes of resin and grains.

On tap and snifter served? at Lunar Brewing Co.. Showed a bright & clear, copper color, with frothy, off white/light cream toned head foam, and very clingy, curtainy lacing. The nose was fresh grapefruit, some malt sweetness, and a hint of dank graininess. The flavor presented some smooth malt, moderate, lingering hop bitterness that was not overly assertive, a little less than medium body, fair carbonation, and a finish that was somewhat dry. A decent IPA, but a little pricey for what I wouldn’t consider a snifter worthy brew.

12oz bottle from Tiffany's, Kalamazoo MI. Clear dark amber pour with inch of cream colored head. Sour hop scent, like a hoppy pale ale, citrus but mostly pine. Wheaty aroma too. Mouth feel is fairly light and a bit watery. May be high on the malt. Taste is all simple pine bitterness. Finish is less strong and bitter too. Not really that great and a disappointment to the harvest style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
