COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Michigan grown hops are the story in this seasonal harvest ale. Hopivore is wet-hopped with hops added to the brew just hours after harvest, creating rare, fresh flavors.

Bottle. Cloudy deep amber body. Frothy, off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma of raw, dusty grain, leafy resinous hops, pine, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, smooth texture, lively carbonation. Taste of husky grain, resin, pepper ó like so many other resin bombs.

Pours a clear copper color with a think pillowy head that lingers a long time. Aroma is faint but pleasant. Perfumy, floral hops mixed with some malt. Taste is solid. Light sweetness, floral hops with a nice malt backbone. Finish is a tad dry. Overall not a bad beer just nothing exciting going on. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught. Pours a somewhat hazy dark amber color with a moderate off-white head. Nose isnít too strong, but has some nice hoppiness to it. Taste is a tad bitter, but not overly so.

Hoppy aroma. Initially there is a hoppy punch that carries some bitterness. Unfortunately, it fades to a rather thin finish that is a bit watery.

Bottle--clear, deep, copper color with a medium that is long lasting along with lacing. The aroma is no hop bomb, but it definately smells like wet hops. Good malt backbone on the taste with soft hops on the finish, medium bitterness. Good, but expensive. Brusin Ales, 2.75.

At the brewery, amber colored and small white head. Some nice earthy and hoppy aromas and very subtle in the taste. Clean and refreshing and pairs well with my poet Chili.

on tap at Busters on 28th, nice try New Holland just make more dragons milk, this is a weak attempt perhaps a Pale Ale, but donít call it an IPA.. for being an APA its not half bad though, easy drinking and would be a decent break from the Oktoberfests.

I donít remember liking this beer very much when I first tried it a couple years ago, but I have definitely enjoyed it this year. The hop notes have an interesting subtle, earthiness to them that, together with the substantial malty backbone really make this a thick, complex beer. The slightly bittersweet and sour finish lasts quite some time. Nose is especially notable-- really great earthy floral smells. I also like that they got such impressive, champagney carbonation in a meaty harvest ale. Good beer (this time around)
