Bottle @ home, courtesy of bnielsen13. Thanks again Brad! Clear, reddish copper appearance with a light brown head. Piney, rich herbal hoppy, somewhat toasty malty aroma. Toasty light caramel/pale malty, dull herbal hoppy flavor with some light grapefruit. Not sure if this would be better fresher but this is pretty bland.

Hmm... as I opened this an Eminem song popped up on Pandora and the previous rater of this beer got it from a user named Slim Shady. Coincidence? Absolutely. 12 ounce bottle from Sam’s Quik Stop. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big toasty and caramel malts with peppery and herbal hops. The taste is bitter green and resiny hops with caramel malts. Some honey and toastiness as well. Medium bodied. There’s no best by date on the bottle, so I’m hoping it was old when I bought it. It’s good, but falls short on the wet hop promise. And I’m used to New Holland falling short.
