Ale Boy99 (19), Twin Lake, Michigan, USA Aug 7, 2002 Reminds me of a slice of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day!
Rynoplasty (253), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 12, 2008 Pours hazy light amber with a small off white head. Aroma is light but of pumpkin spices. Taste is light bodied with a nice but small taste of pumpkin and pumpkin spices. A light easy drinking pumpkin beer. sleestak (84), Williamston, Michigan, USA Oct 12, 2008 On tap at Old Chicago. Orange-gold with a thin white head. Both spice and pumpkin are understated in the aroma. A surprising amount of malt comes through. Taste is similar. It’s almost like a lightly spiced Octoberfest rather than a pumpkin beer. Still, rather enjoyable and more drinkable than a lot of the category that become overwhelming by the bottom of the glass. Trev (541), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Oct 10, 2008 pours a medium gold with a thin white head.
Aroma is cinnamon/nutmeg spice, a touch of pumpkin.
Flavour is again pie spice, light biscuity malt and a little metallic bitterness in the finish.
Meh, so-so. MartiniFiend (104), Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, USA Oct 9, 2008 Bottle. Light amer in color with a head that dissipates quickly. Sweet malty aroma with some spice. Light palate. Flavor starts out a sweet maltish with a pumpkin middle and a mix of cinnamon and nutmeg finish. AndrewKScott (412), Lemont, Illinois, USA Oct 8, 2008 Pours kind of orange. Spicy pumpkin aroma, some nutmeg, some cinnamon. Pumpkin and spice flavor with some bitterness. Maybe a bit herbal. I wouldn’t drink this again.
