Ichabod combines malted barley and real pumpkin with cinnamon and nutmeg in a delicious and inviting brew. A rewarding complement to many dishes, Ichabod pairs well with autumnal foods such as poultry and root vegetables. After dinner, try it with your favorite dessert!

Alright, I guess Iíll say something about this considering I havenít said anything about this until now. Hmmm.....here goes. Yes, this is reviewed from notes from over 2 years ago, sue me. Iíve poured this into a pint glass practically every time. The appearance was a nice semi-dark to light orange to brown color-ed body with a nice less than a half fingered white foamy head that died extremely quickly. Lacing, hmmm...what lacing, there wasnít any. The smell had a nice cinnamon to ginger spiced somewhat pumpkin-esque sort of spiciness trying to let a semi-decent maltiness to come about it. Does it? Hmmm....Not really, but still good for the most part. The taste, hmmm....well, its a fairly good spicy to sweet to a light hoppy bitterness combining and coming all about into itself. On the palate, it sat at/about a fairly light to medium on the body leading into a decent sessionable quality and having a fairly good carbonation running about its body. Overall, for the most part, Iíd say this was a good Pumpkin Ale that Iíd have again as it had everything I was looking for.

Clear copper pour, ok head, head retention, light lace. Ok, I hated this beer at first but after cellaring the soy sauce tastes seemed to mellow. Aroma is ok but still a bit soy saucey, maybe even like smoked bacon a bit but more like smoked soy sauce. Its in taste even as well, and I remember now I compared it to beef jerky,it still tastes like this in a not so good way. Has some caramel sweetness otherwise, light spices. Not great.

Wow this was unexpectedly bad. Dark orange pour with a white head. Funky spice aromas. Flavor is faint pumpkin with a strange artificial flavor-perfume-cologne sharp finish. Very unpleasant. What a sad waste of pumpkins!

9/2/2010. From bottle. Dark orange with a white head. Aromas of spice, malt and light fruit. Malty flavors with spices showing. Iím not picking up much of the pumpkin though.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours orangish with a off white head. Taste pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle. Hazy amber orange color. Small creamy beige head. Light grainy malt aroma. Notes of ripe fruit and cinnamon. Toasted malt flavor has a spicy backdrop. Hints of cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg. Overall, pretty mainstream as pumpkin ales go.

Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Hazy orange amber pour with a clutching foamy head. Light pumpkin flavors. Unexpected notes of bile and nail polish remover. Not appealing but at least not the standard Pumpkin Ale.

Thanks to Gil. Decent pumpkin ale. Spiced well, a little pumpkiny, maybe a bit sweet. Thin mouthfeel at the end. Serving: Bottle
