A robust renovation of the India Pale Ale. Assertive dry-hoppying provides an aromatic telltale nose, indicative of the bitter symphony to follow. Bold hop character with lively grapefruit and citrus notes. 20į Plato, Alc. 9.4% by Vol.

12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. Copper colored. Makes me think itís going to be malty before I even try it. The head disappears quickly. Not so aromatic, really. Less than I would have expected. I smell a caramel maltiness more than hops. Maybe a bit of piny hops. Good hop flavor, maybe not like a DIPA should have, but itís good. Hardly any bitterness from the hops. The malt flavor is apparent. Not too sweet, just enough to balance the hops. Just thick enough to justify the 9.4% alcohol. Carbonation is maybe a bit low. Makes it feel slightly too creamy for the style. I thought maybe it was a bit astringent in the finish, but that seemed to go away after a few sips.

an orange color poor, with a small head. has a pine aroma with a hint of citrus. Has a strong malt and bready flavor which subdues the hop bitterness

Pours barely translucent dark honey golden-brown with a thin buff head. Hoppy aroma had a strong citrus note and a malty underpinning. Strongly hoppy flavor has firm fruity notes, cotrus and apple, plus malty and caramel hints. Fairly firm texture is rather fizzy. Put on yer Imperial hat!

Bomber. Pours a flaky reddish dark amber with a resilient, creamy white head. Aroma is barley sugar, red fruit and light hops. Flavor is barley sugar, fruits, caramel, resin and alcohol. Finish is herbal and grapefruit. Lingering red candy. Medium body, sticky mouthfeel, weak to average carbonation.

1 dec 2014, bottle. Light orange, clear, some bubbles and sediment. Nose is bitter grass, resin, and alcohol. Med/full body and mildly fizzy. Sweet malt and alcohol, grassy hops aren't very bitter but they are dry and linger. Alcohol lingers a bit as well. Pretty good!

I think this might be a bottle I keep for the shelves. Pours a murky deep dark golden brown color. Amber. Thick off white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus and grain. Kind of a hoppy fall harvest scent. Full palate. Very dry hop bite hits me smack in the face. This is probably one of the driest beers Iíve ever had. Bitter, boozey, thick, different, mouthwatering.
