COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A robust renovation of the India Pale Ale. Assertive dry-hoppying provides an aromatic telltale nose, indicative of the bitter symphony to follow. Bold hop character with lively grapefruit and citrus notes. 20° Plato, Alc. 9.4% by Vol.

22oz bottle. Poured a medium amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of pine, some citrus, and some floral hoppiness. Tastes of citrus, pine, and some toasted caramel. Lighter alcohol in the finish.

Bottle at Mondiale 2010. Hop aromas, emminating from very golden coloured body with a white hjead and lace rings. You can see the carbonation bubbles. Good piney hops and creamy malts, hits the bullseye for the style. But you can detect the a.b.v. Bit above average mouthfeel.

Sample at the 2nd Annual Olde Worthington Beer Festival on 7/10/2010. This beer is a clear amber color with a thin off-white soap-sudsy head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing. Citrusy hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of citrus, piney hops and sweet malt. The finish is hoppy with a malty base that lingers awhile. Decent beer all around.

On tap, a bit watery for a DIPA, it didn’t have that succulent bitter mouthfeel, it wasn’t super sweet but neither the malt nor the hops stood out really.

Pours deep orange with nice white head, aroma is full of citrus, with grapefruit and candied orange, with a touch of pine, leading into caramel. Taste up front is bitter grapefruit and nice orange, leading into sweet caramel, finishing piny and bitter. Very nice brew.

12oz bottle purchased from Dutch’s for $4. Bottle says "2010 Vintage". Mildly hazy orange color, decent white head, some lacing. Very bitter, but not as much hop as I was expecting. Maybe it’s the aging. Good amount of carbonation, makes for good sipping. Weird bitter finish.. Definitely grapefruity. Not worth the price, though. There are way better IIPAs.

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a hazed golden body and a small white head. Aroma of pine, tangerine and orange. Taste is pine, caramel and orange. Alcohol is well hidden, and I didn’t realize this was an IIPA when drinking it, so it has a decent amount of drinkability on that part. Light carbonation.

Tap. Clear amber pour. White head with lingering lacing. Earthy citrus grapefruit nose and taste. Kind of sticky. Very nice.

On tap at New Holland on our way to RBSG. Pours a clear orange with a thin beige head. Citrus and malt, faint alcohol. Nice juicy malt and hops, earthy. Long bitter grapefruit and quinine on the finish. Well balanced.
